This is my fairy tale outfit inspired by the Little Mermaid and my love of the beach!! Now that I have moved away from my home state, I really do value and miss the beach, sand, water, and salt!!

I love the idea of spreading joy through sharing what we appreciate most about each others HAs, so I'm going to try and comment on as many as I can :D Everyone deserves genuine compliments!

Oh, the background you used is one I haven't seen before! It's very pretty. I like how you utilized a foreground and background to create depth! I had to double check in the wardrobe that they weren't one item! The makeup layering is very well done and looks smooth!

That background is officially on my WL because the colors are gorgeous! I really like how the pattern BG lays over it. Often laying a pattern over a more detailed image BG comes out weird but these two are very well matched! The color coordination in the layers of the dress / top / belt is really nice, and using the white skin to fit theme and blend the outfit was a smart call! I love the detail of the snowflake hairpiece, it ties the BG even more and is cute.

I really like how you combined the necklace and top. I thought it was one item at first! The layering of the ocean water memento over the other items to help blend them makes for a nice, more cohesive look between the layers! I wonder if there's an item like a crown or headpiece that would color match with the top and tail? Could be fun to add something if so, so that the really nice vibrant color was carried all the way through!

I like how you color matched the leggings to the top of the background so that the color was pulled all the way through, balancing the HA. Similarly, adding the leg wrap was a nice way to balance the top and hair! The bright blue eyes stand out, which can be a great way to highlight a notable feature about a character! Alternately, a more purple eye may blend a bit more with the HA overall. I really like that you used the body freckles! It adds layer to the areas of the HA that aren't vibrantly colored without making the HA unbalanced or overwhelming.

I love bears, so I'm automatically a fan of your fairy tale choice lol! The fact that Papa Bear is wearing a hat also brings me joy. The use of the border gives the HA that "fairy tale book" feel, such a clever idea. The choices you made with the face / makeup truly create a youthful / "childish" look!

My HA represents the Disney Movie Tarzan..it is where the story begins… Outfitby FabulousVioletAwhile back i had as one of my patients (on OB floor with mothers ‘n babies) the couple that had twins..only very shortly...as one of them died so very soon the same night.. It was as you can imagine a taxing time as congrats and condolences are both in the order of things. It was extremely hard to work that evening.

When i got to my car after my shift i was facing the 3rd floor and rooms i had on my shift. I sat quietly looking at their window with a very very heavy heart. I turned the radio on and this song came on. I sang out with it as LOUD as i could and just let the tears roll down my face. For the mother missing her son..for the father missing his son…for the baby that will forever miss his twin brother yet feel him throughout life as they do….i feel the same pain when i think of them separated at birth whenever this song comes on especially…yet i still sing loudly

[outfit= 1482160] I had to go with Thumbelina this time! As much as I adore all of the original grimms fairytales and a few others (Rose red and snow white are in my top 3!) I was rewatching a bunch of old Thumbelina movies and couldn't resist!

I LOVE the bears looking like they are circling your HA! And the little mischievous smirk is fantastic. The border is such a nice touch too!

Your HA's snake friend acting as a hat is so cute I can't get over it! Backdrop is so perfect to match the shirt and it looks just so summery!

I had no idea about aardvarks, what a beautiful and heart breaking story to share. I love the HA including such a symbolic animal. And the background is just stunning to match with your HA.

ooo i glanced at your (not entry just regular one)HA and saw Gwen Steffani for just that moment with the high ponytail..a fun moment thought i would share oh my!! i love your very sweet HA..her petite size can be told by the frog at her side! her hair colors blend in with her surrounings well. as so tiny Thumbelina MUST stay protected. her little freckles look like a sheer glittering across her face :) nice job at Thumbalina.. reminds me i used to love those too..hmmmm wonders about watching them..they arent real sad huh?

i am super impressed with the intricate layering of your alice. the rabbit and your bunny ears are spot on. the foreground gives it the moody fantasy look and the backgrnd with the brown circles in it look like the rabbithole.superjob.

also your fairy godmother is spendid. where you found all those items is an incredible amount and good find of cw pieces to use..down to the magic wand .her eyes aredreamy AND pink..lovely to look at and nailed the HAs to the storyline!!

So......my entry is based on a princess that has a curse placed on her from a mean witch who envies her youth. The witch gave her horns and cursed her to walk at night. She is destined to walk alone, as the witch turned the princess' family and friends into ravenous butterflies threatening to eat anyone who comes near, like a pack of locusts. Only someone with true love can brave the butterflies, win the princess' heart, and break the curse.
