I wasn't sure if I could ping everyone, but our son had his surgery today and is sleeping soudly at the moment. THough, we have to wake him up every 3 hours for 48 hours switching between tylenol and motrin. Fun times! We were told the ear tubes helped with the hearing test and his hearing is normal :) Now to let him rest and get better!

It was wonderful to get our kid back after the surgery and he didn't like having to wake up from the anesthia at all! He seems to be doing better now though :)

whew i am glad though..the adenoids out should help breathing alot! my daughter had sleep apnea so bad before she got hers out(tonsils too)at age of 6. i was afraid to sleep..i would keep waking her up n propping her up in my arms. i recorded her breathing for the docs to hear! His hearing is testing better already that is amazing isnt it though?? Zdid he have breathing problems as well?

I had to have that done on both my older sons, when they were younger. My middle son's hearing was muffled, and he began to say his words wrong. Once we had the tubes done, his speech improved with his hearing improvement.

He had breathing problems and snoring since he was born, I think he has/had sleep apena like his dad. He hasn't complained about it being too loud, now that he can hear better. He is up and watching tv, so I'm happy he seems to be doing better.

I'm hoping my son's speech will improve also with the ear tubes. We'll wait and see what happens!

Give him time, he will. The fluid on his eardrums were muffling all sounds he hears.

Definitely! He goes to speech and ot already, so he'll get a break from those for awhile. I'm sure he will have to adjust with how everything sounds now.

Both my sons speech are great n ow, and their in their mid 30s. Just give him time and his speech therapy he will do great.

Things be falling into place well it seems. The replacement part came in yesterday, which is the correct one. Tho an installation may have to be delayed until al the tools can be gathered. The water pump may be coming, once mine can determine when to buy it.

For now mine dawdling, a morning job gained some ground, and the geese enjoy a heap of grass this afternoon.

No need to make a mad dash, mine nest activity is at 17:00, six hours or so.
