: He has seen the Dr., had every lab test done and even CT scans of his head. He's suffering from intractable vertigo with all the symptoms. He had an episode in April that sent him to the ER because he had no idea what was going on. This latest episode started Wednesday and put him in bed for four days. Only today has he been able to sit up and watch a little TV, (he insisted on watching the Indy 500 but had to look away a lot as cars passed by, especially the "Petunia Cam" shots).

Differential diagnosis is most likely BPPV, Vestibular Migraine or Vestibular Neuritis. The last two can last for weeks. Walking is dangerous because he has no balance, driving is out of the question. He is discouraged and frustrated. The kind words from his friends are encouraging.

I am so sorry!! That is awful! My daughter gets vertigo and is waiting for some test results. Yours sounds way worse but I imagine any and all vertigo is miserable.

yes it was from storms moving through the area my neighbors had a tree get uprooted and is laying across their front lawn .. when I bought this house we had two giant oak trees in the front yard I had those cut down I didn't want to risk having that happen at my house the wind would blow those trees right toward my house and I don't want that mess

I sold them and I have half of my pines for 2x4 the tree removers kept half that way I didn't have to pay cash

Smart, my brother in law cut trees down for my Dad took them home. Then he made wood floors for him and my sister's house. My Dad was happy to get them cut down, and happy to see the wood used like that.

We had trees around our house removed too, way too many hurricanes to keep anything close to the house.

A couple weeks ago, a friend of ours had a big limb come down on her new Jeep Wagoneer. She was devasted.

Hi y'all! We made it home safely from our RV weekend :) It was a lot of fun and we stayed at a winery and then near a lake just north of us. We rented the RV and my husband and I have decided that is how we will be camping from now on lol.
