- Oh, boy, you're going to have some fun. I know there is no scientific basis for full moons or Halloween being crazier in a hospital then any other normal day but it is. Make sure you get enough rest before hand. 😂 I think action shots are the best. Theyshow off the pet's personality. :) I asked my hubby if he hates snails and he said he likes them, especially with a little butter and garlic. Oh, barf. XD I'm triple checking everything he gives me to eat for the next couple of weeks. 😂

I think that would be great! You said you usually do chibis now, but can you do pet quads too? I'm always looking for art for my pets. Most of the artists I can't afford or I wait for them to have specials or sales. But you might think about those too if you like to do them. :)

I'll have to consider doing pet quads! I'll probably need a lot more practice because my specialty is humans, but drawing quads would be a good skill for me :)

Of course! I just want to make sure my site is inclusive of everyone, that's something I really take seriously ^_^ I'm mostly doing chibis at the moment, not sure if I'm going to be colouring them or not atm, we'll see how I feel :P

If my books sold well I'd look into making audio versions. But, as of right now, it would be spending a lot more money than I'd be making back.

Has anyone heard from Spirited? Or has a way to connect outside of Subeta?

We are directly in the path of Hurricane Milton and close to where it is supposed to make landfall, so it's been a very wild weekend. I had five dog guests for work (a pair of ridgebacks, a pair of spaniels, and a small puppy) all last week. The two duos went home on Sunday, but the little one is with me for another week and a half. We spent Sunday evening and all day yesterday prepping the house as best we could, packing, and loading. TEN animals and all their stuff, our stuff, and since it's a hurricane the addition of the important things we most needed to keep safe - woof. Thank God we left when we did. It was about a four hour drive to where we are staying and between the time we left and the route we took we didn't hit the insane traffic others are now hitting. Unfortunately, in the middle of nowhere in the pitch black when we were still an hour and a half from our destination our truck's radiator blew! It was scary, but thankfully my husband (who was driving the truck) noticed the temperature and we found a side street just before it blew! We had to shuffle animals and items and juuuuust managed to fit all ten in the suv with me. Thank God we were able to get a tow all the way to our destination, but it was a two hour wait for the truck to arrive and $500usd to get it towed. What an adventure that was! We finally got to sleep around 3am and are both exhausted. We're still going to get hit by probably a Cat 1 or a tropical storm, but that's much better than a Cat 4. Especially since we will likely lose power at home. Praying our home stays safe and the flooding is minimal / reserved for the garage not the main house. I packed up a lot of my books in tubs to keep them as safe as possible, but they had to stay home.

Besides being exhausted, we're just grateful. Grateful we aren't more likely to have damage at home, grateful we were able to get everything done and leave when we did, grateful Johnny noticed the temp when he did and that there was a random side street, grateful we were able to fit all the animals in one vehicle, grateful we have a safe (and free) place to stay, grateful we were able to get a tow all the way here, grateful we had the money to cover it (unusual for us lol), grateful we have my bonus dad's (FIL's) truck to use if we can't afford to get my poor boy Caesar (truck) fixed soon, and mostly grateful we are all safe and sound and together. We're praying for our home and for everyone who is in the path of Milton / was effected by Helene.

Also my kitty boy Takota had a vet appointment and he is in very good health for being 12! He is overweight and has some muscle loss in the backend so we need to work on that. May have some nerve damage to the rear legs (unclear) but if he does he does not seem to be in pain or bothered much mentally / emotionally so we're going to focus on the weight loss, muscle development, and possible supplements. The exercises will help with nerve stuff too.

I'll be in and out as we see what the storm is doing!
