I would love to have Pearly and Winnie-the-Pooh, if two are okay. Pearly's name spoke to immediately and I think she will go well with my other two koras, Starcrafter and Novea.

finally have a chance to sit down, so i'm gonna throw my hat in the ring for wishmonger and acolyte.

i have two ideas for wishmonger, currently still trying to pick. i really want to play with the idea of a compelling wish-related villain/tragic character, esp since Disney rly dropped the ball on this idea and i think it has a lot of potential!

1. wishing tree narrative that highlights the idea of the cost of giving, where they are a deity that grants wishes at their own expense. I want to write the story in a haunting way that highlights the burden placed on the wishmonger and their own sense of worthiness and goodness as they continue to hollow themselves out to grant wishes; the tone would likely be embittered and steeped in quiet desperation. in this story, the deity is sustained by the people's belief in them, but they must continue to grant wishes to continue affirming the people's worship of them. i'm thinking nightmare or graveyard to go with the darker story. this tc would have a lot of motifs of decay.
2. a trader of wishes: this one goes more with the -monger part of the name, with wishes being much more transactional. this mysterious entity can only be sought out by those with a desperate wish, hiding beyond the veil in an enchanted shop. i think this could be fun to play with the idea of fates and potential. the idea is that in order to have a wish granted, the wisher must give up a current quality or completely close off the potential of another wish they have. the qualities/wishes that the wishmonger claims are then used to fuel her trades with future victims wishers. i'm thinking this idea could be fun as a darkmatter a la "dark woods make for dark matters"! tc would probably start out with like cozy items, but transition into something more sinister.

i absolutely adore acolyte's name! i would love to tie them into the group of Celestial stories i have on my account; i think it could be interesting to write from the perspective of a mortal worshipper of Salixa, especially after her death. it would be an exploration of their reverence for the goddess, now shaken by the simple fact that she is dead. a sentiment i find myself returning to at the core of this idea is "we believed in their infallibility, but still yet they were broken gods in a broken world." i'm thinking a glade pet for acolyte, with a nature themed tc.

I collect legacy animal names so that's the first reason. But I am missing an exotic animal/story in my pet bunch.

I'd like Binturong to be this cool Asian girl, who is a student but works a side job in the cinema. Because apparently Binturongs smell like buttered popcorn <3 in my head she looks like Karina from Draw Fee haha

Hello. I'm not sure how in-depth you'd like applications. But I'm interested in Spook as I love their name. I've been searching for a Halloween themed pet. I would turn Spook into a custom Ghostly. His profile would be old-time Halloween children's themed. Or I might lean toward an Edward Gorey (darker sketched art) style; I'd have to feel that part out, as some pet concepts come to me as I work. I would fill Spook's TC mostly with Morostide (dark, ghost, Halloween) items. I would also either draw him a custom image or order one.

basically tell me what you're going to do with the pet, story ideas, art if you have it, etc.

Interested in Bestiary! Would do a D&D pet based around Volo's Guide. Have some ideas for TC theme with the D&D stuff, animals and writing tools. Overlay thinking along the lines of an owlbear or beholder. Profile similar to the guide itself.

I'd love to incorporate him into a story as a colleague of my boy Pits, (before his death) and my husband's pet Harding- a scientist, and the only one left continuing the work on their joint project when an accident seems to have happened to Pits, and Harding seemingly succumbing to a long term condition. The intention is to spin it as a mystery, that brushes lightly against the stories of several of my other pets, as well as those of a friend- @/artkat.

Their pages have all been pulled apart recently for a major overhaul (we all got very excited about retooling everyone's stories), but you can see an example of my writing still up on Pits himself, and an example of some of the style of artwork he'd be getting at this link here: Clicky! Probably a science-based treasure chest, but I think also with an overlap of hand-made toys and old clockwork, since I'm imagining him as a very gentle soul with a little bit of a wistful hope at mending lives, (not entirely unlike Dr. Jekyll's portrayal in the Jekyll and Hyde musical, I suppose.)

I would absolutely love to adopt Sweetooth - I've really been into the series/comic Sweet Tooth and I think that they'd make an adorable Gus fanpet.

I also really love Snuggly, but I would probably end up changing the name back to the legacy of Snug, for a more autumnal themed pet.
