Every year, plans a fun secret santa event for our Chatterbox group, but we'd love to once again invite any who are interested to jump in. Please comment here and ping Slash if you want in. We won't start until December 1, but will need a little time to prep and plan so we can get names sent out in November. Slash will give you the scoop once we see how many are joining. <3 P.S We would welcome any and friends too. I know there's some crossover between our groups and would love to include anyone who's interested in a little holiday cheer this Lumi. :)

Now, we're going to be a bit of a spoil sport but there are some rules to this. has done it a few times now and these boundaries have always helped her manage it. Feel free to Slash ask questions about these rules if you're not sure on how they work.

• PLEASE NOTE: In order to make this swap accessible to many with even small amounts of sP or time, we ask that you make a wishlist of around 20 items that are worth 1 million sp OR LESS. That's 1,000,000sp or under. Alternatively: If you're struggling to find items worth 1,000,000sp, you may add items that are worth a little more, but in total your wishlist should not exceed 20 million sP, all items combined. 20 items at 1,000,000 per item comes to 20,000,000sp in total, or close.

This does not mean as a shopper you can only buy from the wishlist if you can afford and would like to pick other things. Please, have fun! Pick things you'd like to gift off of any part of the wishlist and can afford. You can spend absolutely as much as you want, but we understand not everyone has the ability to really spoil their match at the exact same level. It's important to try to pick nice things, and even if your budget is small, try to think about that and don't go bare minimum either. You don't have to buy everything on the list, but please try to do more than just one item. Just think of it as a chance to share some love, and do what you can without stressing. As receipients, remember this is about having fun and sharing holiday spirit, not about the exact value of the items you receive.

• On that note, do check your wishlist periodically. Prices are always going up and down! Swapping things out for prices that are within the limits will help your santa be able to shop more effectively. If you've already bought gifts for your Secret Santa and they change their wishlist, you do not have to buy the new items on it.

• Unless the item costs a reasonable amount of sp, no Cash Shop items on wishlists. There are some truly beautiful items in the Cash Shop, but this is an sP only swap. So no wishlist items that can only be purchased with CSC. The one year we did allow them ended badly with an argument that took months to resolve. I would like to avoid this happening again. Sorry, but I'm not moving on this one. Your secret santa may choose to buy something from the cash shop, but we're asking you to avoid csc items on your wishlist.

• You can gift your Secret Santa whenever you wish during the Luminair celebrations. A small gift every day right up to saving them and showering them with gifts on the big day, the choice is yours. Please use the gift center, not the tree. It's fun to know what the items you're receiving are for, so use a box (anonymously if it's before Lumi-it's fine to reveal yourself after!) and mark that it's from the Chatterbox Secret Santa!

• If you have any concerns or issues, please let know. If you are unable to fullfil your commitment, please reach out. We'll do our best to come to a solution. I'm happy to discuss how we can solve problems and make this a fun event for everyone. The rules are just to try and make things easier for me while managing this. I have a RL job and commitments which do eat into my time. (Trust me, I've tried to stop them before. It never works.)

Okay, I think we can safely say that there is interest. Looks like the Chatterbox Secret Santa is on!

• Last day for sign up is 24th of November. I'll be starting the pairs off after this date.

• You need to have a Wishlist of 20 items by this date as well. Ideally it should be called Chatterbox Secret Santa or simmilar so your Secret Santa can find it.

• Items on this list are not to be priced at more than 1 million sp. That's 1,000,000sp. Now, this rule is in place for those who may not be able to afford more. Not everyone can get together a lot of sp due to RL comitments. If you or your Secret Santa decides to get you a wishlist item worth more than this, they can. Go for it, even! But not everyone can spoil their Secret Santa like that. The wishlist is there as a standard for everyone. You do not have to get anything else other than what's on the wishlist if you don't have the time or funds.

• If you're struggling to find items worth 1,000,000sp that you want, I have a new addition to these rules to help out. You can have higher value items on your list, as long as you have fewer items on your list. 20 items at 1,000,000 per item comes to 20,000,000sp in total. So, if you want something that is 5 million sp, you can have that on your wish list but you can only have 15 items at most on your wishlist. Basically, the sum total of the items on your wishlist ideally shouldn't be more than 20,000,000 sp. I'm not worried if it's 1,000 or so more. Just try to keep it within that number.

• Try and check your wishlist during the event. Item prices skyrocket during the Luminair celebrations and some of the rarer items can get priced too high to afford. If this happens, swap it out for something else or reduce the number of items on your wishlist.

• If you've already bought gifts for your Secret Santa and they change their wishlist, you do not have to buy the new items on it.

• You don't need to buy all the items on your Secret Santa wishlist. Though go for more than one. :)

• Unless the item costs a reasonable amount of sp, no Cash Shop items on wishlists. • If your wishlist comes under 20 million sp as you've gone for cheaper items, that's fine too. :) The 20 million is just to try and stop prices getting a little too out of control.
