I Love The Girl with the Rose Red Slippers! Fairy tales around the world were something I really enjoyed growing up. Rhodopis leaving a bath and admiring those sparkly shoes when an eagle just steals one (and subsequently the pharaoh falls in love with...the owner of the shoe...) is one of my favorite Cinderella variations because it's so unusual. I always felt bad for Charaxos because he did all these nice things and then had to wave her off to go be happy with someone else Outfit Not Found
My favorite Egyptian myth is when Thoth challenged Khonsu to a game of senet and ended up winning 5 days worth of light for Nut. I still wonder why Khonsu agreed to play against the god of wisdom (Thoth)...didn't it ever occur to him he might NOT win?
