It's a fair question and yes, there's a story behind it. Back when Pokemon first came out, me and my brother played it together since we could only afford one copy, Pokemon Blue, and one gameboy. It was fun. He loved the big battles and I enjoyed tracking down the different Pokemon and building teams. We completed the game that way, together. However, because we were still kids we tried to call our character Ash after the anime. But we hit the wrong button and the character ended up being called Lash. We learned after how we could have changed hte name but didn't want to stop playing. When I got Pokemon Red and a gameboy for my birthday, I called my character Slash as a way to build on the name of our first character that we played together. Unfortunetly and accidental save mishap caused us to loose our first game but we still played various games together. When Gold and Silver came out, I called myself SlashX to conncect to the previous games and once again build on what had come before. Even as my brother and I grew up and began to move apart, we still bond over games. I also met my three best friends through being a fan of Pokemon. When I began to play online I decided to combine the names I used for my Pokemon games as, not only was I going to various Pokemon themed forums, but it would connect me to the friends I'd made along with new ones. It's cheesy, I know. But that's why I'll always be SlashSlashX when I'm online. :)
Your super pretty scale baby. :)
The hair. :)
That's cool. Love that you and your brother bonded over games. I never played Pokemon, but my son did. My favorite games were Mario 65, Banjo Kazooie, and The Sims Busting Out. I was NEVER good at any battling or racing, so I got my friend, my kids or their friends to do it for me. lol What I loved was the puzzles and looking around. Later when the games started having amazing graphics, I really couldn't play because they were full of battles, but I loved watching my son play. He never minded either so that was nice. Banjo was the first I remember being beautiful, but one my son played was Zelda the Ocarina of Time. Just gorgeous. Then later it was all the Elder Scrolls/Skyrim etc... they are incredible. And today, OMG the games look so real. The artistry is truly above and beyond. I like to watch a compilation of the story behind the game in Halo every now and then. It does not look like a game, its more of a movie and I just love it. <3
The dress or eyeshadow <3
