As for the weather, I've mostly been inside so I don't pay much attention. xP I know there's been some days where it's supposedly 'felt' like 100 or more. How've you been?

I love cucumbers; we get them from a local farmer's stand if we can (my mom has grown them in the past with mixed results). I like to eat them with apple cider vinegar, haha. That's so cute! I have tons of different pillows on my bed and I just counted in my head and I have 7 total.

I slept decent again. I keep waking up around 4 or 5 but I do my sleep techniques and lately it's been working and I've managed to go back to sleep.

That makes sense. Although all I ate when I was pregnant was watermelon and McDonalds burgers fries and milkshakes and I would still like any of those. lol

I go through phases of making HA's too. And another cute one! It reminds me of watermelon. and now I'm craving some. :-)

Brown Basmati though. Once you get used to it you might find you like it better than white rice. About 10 years ago I lost 20+ pounds and I did it following Weight Watchers Purple Plan. And I found the resources to do it for free online so that was good. Anyway, I just looked at my old plan and remembered that there's lots of pastas now made from things like lentils and black beans. That's another way to avoid the carbs from white flour. You could still put spaghettis sauce or fettucine sauce on it and I don't think you probably wouldn't miss the white flour pasta. Some people talk about spaghetti squash or konjac noodles but I'm not a fan of either of those as a substitute. Good luck and I'm always happy to help you! I sometimes think I should have gone to college to be a nutritionist as it's something I really like to learn and know about. :-P

Yup! I try to stay inside as much as possible with this weather. The only time I'll go anywhere, is to take the kiddo to school and to the activities he has thruout the week.
I'm watching Outlander now, since I have listened to the audio books already. I know there are more seasons, but Netflix only has 5 of them. How have things been for you?

I love french bulldogs and that's funny what your husband says ;.; We don't see too many at my work but we see a lot of tiny dogs. I see a lot of cats, dogs, fish, lizards and one ferret so far :)

Absolutely looking forward to the fall. I'm tired of the heat, was 108 here yesterday and suppose to be 110 here today.
The heat has killed the garden because of no rain which we really need. We can't water enough or bill will be to high, sigh.
But we are so thankful to God for what we did get out of the garden.

- 12 years is awesome! I'm surprised we've made it this long, tbh. lol We're complete opposites in just about everything, but the heart wants what the heart wants. ❤

- I did find out about the white flour pasta subsitutes a few months ago and instituted a clandestine replacement of all our white flour pasta with healthier variations. Hubby still has not noticed. Weight Watcher's Purple, eh? I'm going to Google the heck out of that. rofl :D I've never been very good with nutrition. With me, if it looks good and tastes good, then eat it. 😂

- It's more TNBC than squish mallows. I have adored that movie since it first came out. I'm an avid collector of everything I can possibly get my hands on. I don't even have enough shelves to display it all on. lol 😂

- I've had ferrets before. We had 2, named Harry and Baby. They were the most mischevious little poops. I caught Baby chewing on my Dr Who (10th) action figure twice! The second time after I had put it up on a shelf I thought they could not get to. I was ho, so wrong. 😆 How have you been? :D
