I’ll wait for retribution lol make you sweat it out
You have so much on your plate with 2 little ones! It will happen eventually. I just remind myself that each set of quests only takes me 6 minutes and sometimes that helps me. :-P
I just heard about a new game (to the Switch) called Everdream Valley is on sale until July 13th. Looks pretty fun too.
I think we both are! Lol You excited for your birthday?
How's the black cat story coming along? I really love your purple HA!
thanks! I really love your green HA
story is coming along well. Nearly done, i think. ❤
Thank you! :-) That's great the story is going well!
lol can’t argue with that lol Yes i am Xd. I am looking forward to yummy foods and some family time and chat here. Xd
- I normally avoid them, too, but this series came highly recommended. It's not your typical series about slavery. In fact, I doubt many of the readers realize it is about that until they reach the third book and it's practically spelled out for them. Plus, the author has some unique psychological insights. But that's neither here nor there. I don't think I've ever asked you what kind of books you do like. So, what kind? Please don't say bodice rippers. 😂
- 😆 I know but the sp challenged of Subeta deserve something pretty to wear, too... :P
I hope you have a great day tomorrow!! 🎂🎂🎂 Edit to say: Those are the worst cake emojis I've ever seen. LOL!!
haha I like that bodice rippers. Well I have read some of those, but I tend to like some horror, sci fi or fantasy. I've read lots of werewolves and vampire books... as well as things like R.A Salvadore and his Drizt series, which your software probably won't like pronouncing... so er, dark elf. I also like Harry Potter. But a lot of vamp things kinda do slide into the bodice ripper spots at times. I guess blood letting and sex go hand in hand LOL Though technically speaking it's true enough. The first vampire book ever written, Dracula, was basically about xenophobia and the foreigners coming in and stealing or corrupting young women, especially virginal women. So vampire roots are firmly entangled into the context from the first book. lol sorry nerd moment. Who did your avatar? It's lovely.
thank you! LOL they really are. ooh cute new ha :D
you like farming games?.. there are a lot more better then that xD look up Wylde Flowers.. thats a new one that i just watched and i likey xP

Happy Monday! ^0^
Oh noooooo 😂 hides forever
Oh that's not so bad! I should start looking at it that way :O
That is true! They definitely do :) Luckily though, the best thing about Subeta, is it's really not too hard to make sP. I used to hate that about Neopets, it was SO hard to make the currency.
meh, LOL the days are all the same to me.. well almost. shipping days are all the same, LOL xD kids only have 4 days and then they are out for the summer and no more having to get up early for a bit

OMG yes.. my body won't let me sleep in anymore and i hate it xP mine can work everyday if hes needed but he did have yesterday off :)

you don’t sound very scared. -scowls- now where is my disembowelling trowel?
- Nerd away. :D The first time I actually read Stoker's Dracula I couldn't believe that it was a Victorian bodice ripper hidden in a horror story. I love fantasy, horror, and science fiction. I have the first Drist book but couldn't get into it. The beginning was so slow. It was a massive info dump and I don't like those. I prefer to be thrown in the deep end with no fore-knowledge of the world I'm entering. I prefer to learn as the story progresses. I may give it another try but I'm not sure. :) The creative made my new HA! All praise should be sent her way. ❤
- You've got that right. It's easy to make it but it's also very easy to spend it. 😆 That is, if the quests and Major Drills are nice. Today, neither was nice to me. :'((
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I hope you're having an amazing day!! :-) <3 No ugly cake emojis. LOL!
Yes I like farming games! My reflexes are so bad I mostly don't like games with battle. I Googled Wylde Flowers and I was thinking it looked cute but then when I read that Tara was a witch I got excited and now it's on my future games list. :-)
Makes it easier to get through a set of quests. How's the bebes? Any new milestones? Is Jesse still pooping like a big boy?
waves You behaving? Awesome HA!! Who made it for you? Thinking Colorful maybe? She does make awesome HA's!
this story is not for a gift exchange, so I will share it with you!
full story text
Your English teacher gives you a pop quiz in fifth period. You were supposed to read the first half of Flowers for Algernon for today, you remember. Back in seventh grade, you read the original version, but you forgot all about this assignment.
"Charlie loses the job he's had his whole adult life because his coworkers resent how he has changed. What are some of the reasons they have for their unwillingness to work with him?"
You bullshit your way through a guess at the answer. "He's smarter now and they can't get away with the bullying they used to do," you write. "He makes them feel inferior now the way he used to make them feel superior." Too bad for Charlie. The guy had the worst luck. You can relate, maybe too much. It's a lousy way to lose friends.
The bell rings. End of the day. You're finally free to leave this place, these people. Eleventh grade is so awful, though if pressed you'd admit that eighth, ninth, and tenth were even worse.
Why do schools always give you such downers of books to read, you wonder as you walk home. Plays where everyone dies at the end, books where the characters end up losing everything they gained during the story, do they want to depress you? They must not remember anything about being a teenager.
There's a black cat sitting on the sidewalk ahead. It's licking its front paw, rubbing the paw against its cheek, then licking the side of the paw again. Maybe it has something in its eye.
A black cat crossing your path is bad luck—that's the superstition. But you're not superstitious, and you don't want the poor thing to go blind. You approach it slowly, not wanting to scare it off.
It waits for you to get within a couple of meters, then dashes off.
Turning onto the street you live on, you look downhill toward home. Out of the corner of your eye, you see movement. You look toward it, and there's a black cat walking uphill. It looks like the same cat, though you aren't positive.
Maybe the second time the same black cat crosses your path, it turns the luck from bad to good. That's only your path if you don't go home. Might as well head in the direction of better luck.
You're starting to feel winded when the cat jumps to the top of a fence.
Behind the fence is a huge house you've noticed many times. You have no idea who lives there, but they might be rich. Their house is easily three times the size of any of the others on the street, and it's the only one surrounded by a fence higher than your head.
Walking along the top of the fence, the cat meets your eyes for the first time. Its eyes are golden, the narrow pupil slits barely visible in the glare of the afternoon sun. You can see now there's nothing wrong with those eyes. It meows at you, then jumps down behind the fence where you can't see it anymore. A cat that's not even a tenth your size, and yet it can jump so much higher than you ever could.
So close to what feels like your destination, you want to keep following the cat, even though you're not worried about it being injured anymore. You could try to climb the fence, but you don't think you have the energy. Nor do you want to get arrested, and people rich enough to live in this house might think nothing of calling the cops on you for that.
So you go to the gate and press the buzzer you find there. "Hello?" a voice says from the speaker. "Who's there?"
You give your first name. "My cat just went into your yard," you say. "Is it all right if I come in to get it?"
"I suppose that's all right. Be there in a minute." No buzzer sounds, and the gate does not unlock.
You wait a minute, and then you wait another four. After five minutes, the gate opens. Behind it stands a girl you think you recognize. You don't remember her name, but you have seen her before. She's your age, you think, but not a student at your school. You think you'd remember if you had seen her in school. But where have you seen her?
"I didn't see your cat, but maybe he followed Zero here? Zero!" she says, and the black cat runs up to her and jumps into her arms. "What does your cat look like?"
"Oh," you say, trying to think fast. Too bad you didn't get smart like the character in that story. You lied, you got caught, and now what should you say? Maybe something close to the truth would be best. "I think I thought Zero was my cat. Black cats kind of look alike, I guess."
"Well, just in case, come in," she says. "Let's see if there's another black cat here or not. I'm Ellen, I think we met before? At the pool last summer, was it?"
Maybe it was. You follow her in, and end up having cheese and crackers in Ellen's kitchen, playing with her cat Zero with a fancy laser pointer that shines a blue dot instead of a red one. By the time you leave, you have a new contact in your phone.
On your way home, you make a decision. You'll ask if your parents will let you adopt a black cat. You feel sure it would bring the best of luck.
OMG that's adorable! 👏 Totally sweet and concise! :-)
yeah lol good times, good times :D It is slow, I'll grant you. But I stuck with it cos my friend kept going on about Drizt so I wanted to see what it was all about. It did inspire me to do a dark elf character. LOL but he's pretty much nothing like Drizt except for carrying two swords. Oh no, I can't compliant not when I'm threatening to disembowel her with a trowel--I mean a threat and a compliment at the same time? Now that's just bad manners LOL
It truly has been a lovely day <3 YAy no ugly cake emojiis now :D
