The staff work very hard to keep the site going. Even though there are no more plots I still find plenty to do when working on pets and adding new items to my galleries. I find it a relaxing way to pass the time.
As someone who's back on Subeta (again), and takes frequent breaks-
-It's amazingly easy to catch up on what you've missed. The item directory is a HUGE help, and the way they've added search functionality to it? Fantastic.
-The economy is actually pretty balanced, overall. Common items are dirt cheap, really rare items are expensive, but pretty much all items are obtainable somehow- and through play- even custom wearables. Tying into this- Subeta has an obvious dedication to making sure that there is 'enough to go around' as far as rare/retired items. Having them drop occasionally from quests/making them occasionally available in some way or another is GREAT. On top of that? The in-out of sp and items is. Really great!! Recycle beast to remove low-priced items from the game, quests remove a wide variety of restock-rarity items, and the fragmentizer is literally just 'item dump for resources pl0x'. Combine that with the millionaire center, and the thousands of other ways to remove so from the economy so the game doesn't become super-mega-hyper inflated?? It's pretty solid!!
-AVATARS. Even keeping to the site-released items, the variety and quality of the wearable items on subeta is FANTASTIC. Layering? It's got it. Huge variety of items? Absolutely. SHADING?! Yes and it's amazing. Adding on to the variety point, is how dedicated Subeta is to making sure there are all kinds of wearables- mobility aids, pride items, skin tones, hair styles/colors, etc.
-I love how it's a pet site that lets adults be adults, while still being. technically pg13. We get blood! Bones!!! Spooky stuff!! CURSE WORDS!!! I CAN SAY FUCK!!!! [I didn't double check the rules to make sure i could say fuck, nope, not at all /s]
-I legitimately have such a soft spot for Subeta holiday events. Dancing event? Melody event??? JAXON AND THE PUMPKIN PATCH?!?! And then we get plots on top of this stuff??? It's great, and i legitimately love it!!!
-As an add on to the prior point, i really love how when there's a plot or story on Subeta, the site changes to reflect that. Friendship made between the characters? get ready for items about them being buddies!!! I still remember the plot about Amy, after all these years. (and, as an addition, the plots tend to be pretty interesting, too. Fantine being a zombie, the Masquerade Murder Mystery, Jaxon-plot. All amazing)
Despite being regularly absent from the site, Subeta is always going to hold a VERY special place in my heart.
i agree, i find the economy super balanced. it was easy to jump in as a new player years ago and not feel too left out

The treasure system is fantastic and I'd love to see more love for it. Idk how, it just is the one thing that keeps me coming back. Sometimes I just think "I should go work on my pets' treasures" after several months of not logging on and I go have fun with it because I like collecting and piecing together a story from all the art and items.
Agreed, the economy here is really something. It has item and currency sinks, plus plenty of even profitable ways to turn things into other things. Plus custom items and wearables, and you can even get them without spending money with enough Morty Cards. It just feels like a really mature and well planned out website/community.
I'm glad to see more wearables as opposed to letting the CW community take on the bulk of that creation.
The economy is so good. It actually feels fun and responsive to save money for goals.
Whoever did that donation corner giveaway this past weekend-you are awesome and thank you for doing something super fun for your fellow users. You definitely are a part of subeta positivity. <3
The items' descriptions with little bits of lore, about Subeta itself, the NPCs or a specific land - it's too wholesome, and I love when I stumble upon them. Posting some examples because~
I don't know why but I've always liked a lot how the basic colours weren't just "red", "blue", "purple", and with the Blob what was just a nice little detail became something crucial to create the bestest pet EVER.
And my favourite: pretty much every change/update is made thinking about improving the user's experience. I know it sounds a bit silly putting it this way but I've seen too many companies that either: only care about the parts/aspects that bring in the $$ and abandon the rest; worsen the free users' experience to the point they are either forced to pay or leave; just ruin everyone's fun because the previous system or layout is "sooo 5 days ago uwu". Of course not all changes pleases everyone (I can easily remember a few walls I myself have written...) but in the end you know staff doesn't menacingly seats around a table and go "hohoho, how are we going to piss everyone off and unleash utter chaos on Subeta in this beautiful evening? twirls mustache evilly". And I am very, very thankful for that.
Subeta is super easy to navegate Checking the item price, rarity, description... doing roll over? Best feature on the site, ever, ever forever plus search shop and search acount super handy, one click, one click is good. Cheking my pets read/food colecction? super easy, also, I can see others players as well so I can offer an item they need it Being able to organize items in the safety box by quantity, price, or whaterver, or given those categories. I'm focus to much on organization? There are frequent rotation of items, ans even if the holidays are "the same with other items" you can always have something seasonal to do on the site. Pets treasures, good. I'm playing this actively only the last year, and I agree with the others, I don't fell there are "impossible items you never get" sure, as a reader I have too much expensive book to get XD... but even those seems obtainable. I dunno. Great job guys.
The trick or treat items and the Pumpkin Patch items are amazingly gorgeous and extra special this year. And it is always fun to see the characters in their Moro costumes. I always always get a huge laugh out of Major Drills.
We have 2 waves for tot 2023 this year (the newspost) said -- I think that's the second time this decade, which is nice.
Thankful for the shortened ToT and Patch times. It's helped so much! And just honestly, really happy to have Moro, even if it's shorter, I'm just glad the holiday happened!
I'd like to compliment whoever is the artist for the scaredy cat figurines. The item images are all too precious..., especially this little guy . I had to create a whole new gallery for all things cat, just because of these!
I know right? I needed dupes because of my pet [pet not found]'s ever growing cat army! May even need more just to have them everywhere. XD
I'm here to say I love Morostide as a holiday and I love the variety of items the team release. The pastel witch colors for this year are lovely. I think there's a great blend of creepy stuff and cuter stuff for holidays like Moro and Survival.
I'm a new player and I'm in love with the site. I love collecting things, restocking my store and checking the forums. Everything is so relaxing to do.

I came here to post almost the same thing! I love these little guys. This one reminds me of Studio Ghibli for some reason and I love it.
-The site has so many user ergonomic/quality of life features it's so much better than NeoPets or less developed pet sites.
-The economy actually has a ton of thought put into it and functions relatively well.
-Keith has been the owner forever and there has never been a real disruption of the brand/lore/consistency of the game.
-The artwork. It's far superior to any other site both in the sheer quantity and the quality AND consistency, a feat no other site has ever managed.

I went back to Neopets when they unfroze me; The fact that all of the nice wearables are mostly behind the NC Paywall - and it's HARD to get NC onsite, there's only maybe 2 events - and coming back here to where it's easy to get CSC is a relief, even with considerably less CS items coming out.
