The whole thing was just a spiteful joke, seems the moment mine started yammering about it...it blew over. Bloody Dexters, a southpaw'd woman is worth any amount of time waiting.

Mine will never settle for less.

Mine glad to have given even the few flowers mine could spare, your gratitude is very real to mine.

Oh I am jealous I know you will have fun, and getting to look at plants. I am waiting for my lime bush to blossom, so I can smell the light lime scent in the blooms.

hey i LOVE this from your siggy "Words are the least effective form of communication." made me warm thinking of all the ways we DO communicate even just with our faces alone!

ooooo limes how pretty as well as fragrant. We have several orange trees that is my favorite scent next to real lilacs(not products) is orange blossom(no citrus JUST the blossom) and i get that in a roll on perfume kinda like essential oils..so sweet. I have killed like 4 lemon trees i tried to grow here..cant seem to get the watering on them just right..they fight to live and grow them back only to be screwed again.so sad.

More so if a person seems to show none, yet only one other can easily see how they feel. (Pinkie and Maud Pie for example)

Mine cacti are coming along, but none have yet blossomed. The pear tree mine mum planted is still growing, tho the fruit it bears is sub par. Mine miss the mulberry tree, tho mine wonder if getting a cutting to plant would be a good idea.

My lime bush originally got shipped here from California, by previous owner. We moved it once, and it pouted for one season. I have had to cut it to a foot off the ground, because frost got it. Well if they are stunted looking, pour any soda one can at the base. It will help relax the roots, and will do better. Do this like once a week for a month and see if that helps. The bubbles in the soda help to move and relax the roots. Because any plant out of a pot usually is root bound, meaning the roots are all tangled and in one clump. Which can affect a plant of any kind. The soda will help with this problem.Bone meal with also feed bushes or trees. I personally collect bones from any meat I cook that still has bone marrow inside. I clean them up and toss them in the freezer, and I collect bones from fall until spring. I put them in bread bags. then come spring if its a huge tree, I use four bags and bury them like 13 inches deep. I place them at 4 imaginary corners of a box at the tips (ends) of the tree branches. The ground and water will slowly break down the bones, and release the nutrients into the soil to feed the tree. Good for fruit trees, bushes of any type and just any trees or bushes in your yard that arent doing good. I did this to an apricot tree I used to have, by June it was full of fruit. When I first saw the tree I thought it would die, but the bones treatment proved me wrong. Usually rose bushes or a bush just use one bag divided into 2 to use in 2 locations near bush.

Here's an interesting GIF that I made today from images downloaded from Planet Labs. It shows the refilling of Tulare Lake. This lake was once the largest lakes west of the Mississippi. The Third largest in the United States. It was drained during the twentieth century when the rivers that fed it were diverted and used for irrigation. The bottom land was then used for farm land and became some of the most productive land in the Central Valley of California.

Due to the extraordinary weather California endured this winter, Tulare lake began to fill up again as the rivers that feed it overflowed the diversions and into the lake basin. Now, that the snow thaw has begun in earnest, (600 inches of snow!!) Tulare Lake is due to fill even faster. It's likely that Tulare Lake will be around for several years now.

The lake now is about 10 miles by 10 miles, but it can grow much larger. it's about 1/3rd full right now.

Wild huh?

The Living Planet! Always changing!

Close enough to the end of semester, mine resume playing today. The second group takes the lab test tomorrow, but mine won't be able to study any material. The student portion of online access doesn't include the program for oscilloscopes. Otherwise only two chapters of reading an assignments and one chapter test before final grades.

Best mine get in gear to prep for mine cookout, much cleaning an setup. No telling how many may come...

: Oscilloscope? That sounds intimidating. I use a Pinard fetoscope to auscultate a baby's heart rate and position in the womb. But I imagine the device you mention has very little relationship to such things. Are you listening for an automobile engine's vibrations (oscillations)? Is the device acoustic or electrical? Do you own such a device or is it a specialty item found in your classroom laboratory? I wish you well as you study and prepare for the end of your studies this season. My prayers and blessings are for your continued success. What kinds of foods are you preparing for your cookout? Will you be preparing your famous frozen desert?

Yes, an oscilloscope is not the most complicated piece of equipment. Mine have found the most difficult portion is setting parameters, voltage on the Y axis and time on the X. Were dealing with electrical components that cycle in small fractions of time, ie milliseconds. While the tool shop has four sets, they're expensive toys.

Mine menu has fried fish n chips and whatever mine can wrench out the nest weeks, along with a potluck if mine guests can bring along. Mine have every intention to make sorbet for dessert, with homemade vanilla ice cream. The entire menu depends on what resources are available.

The idea is to have this on a Saturday, zo those who can stay late to play Mario Kart and Tetris.

: That sounds so fun! I would love to try your sorbet! Fish??? My favorite food of all the world. (You know that I'm an EXPERT spear fisher-weasel, right?) My author makes homemade ice cream all the time. It used to be an 'every Friday night' event, but that's a lot of ice cream to eat these days it seems. I love Mario Kart! When I play I get the highest times always! I have an unbroken record of coming in 12th ( the best!) for a year now. I can fall off the road better than any creature.

Oh yes, home made vanilla custard ice cream be a once in a while treat. It would be a stretch to make it so often.

Mine seem to be rather quick about playing solo, tho with friends mine nestled in 4th. Live opponents are always a better experience.

Mine exam is within the hour, if allowed mine will volunteer to go on the first wave.

[edit] The exam took mine about ninety minutes to complete. Mine had a few missteps along the way, as long as mine didn't fry the computer/scope or the car mine did well. Zo, mine will take the afternoon to make some strawberry ice cream, been craving for a spell.
