A lot of HA items that I really enjoyed using in this batch

We've got Dapper! - fun fact, i LOATH the fantastic mr fox movie. It's one of my favorite Roald Dahl books, and the movie just destroyed it. Straight up, I walked out on it I hated it so much. I ended up finishing it one night on my own to see if it MAYBE got any better, and it didn't and I still utterly despise it from start to finish

This was one of the early cash shop purchases for me. I tried so hard to make HAs with it. They're....not great.

, no! I always remember to check if the DC has stuff in it, but this time I completely forgot, and when I went to confirm that everything had been properly donated I saw that there was already over 2000k items. Basically anything Dam to Dar was mine, the rest is from other generous users!

Still trying to be good about randomizing the drop times! It's not perfect, but I think I'm doing decently enough.

We've got the this time, which works considering survival is almost here. These were both fun and a pain to collect, and there are a decent number of them that I legit still want to eat.

SO much love for . Again, one of the items that I WANTED to use so much, but ended up being much more difficult than expected.

We've got the Dark Ranger and Dark Shaman sets, both of which I've used pieces from, and NEITHER of which I know what they are referencing XD

FYI - not next drop or the one after, but after that is DELISH items. I'm going to be doing something a bit different with this. I will be doing drops of HALF pages of the vault (I think it'll come out to 10 drops?), AND I'm actually going to do a pre-announcement of the dates and times that I will be dropping these. This is being done special because with most of my vault, it's a combination of regular items, good items, expensive items, and the occasional unbuyable item. With Delish? It's ALL expensive items. (I think the only other time I may do this is when I get to the Vanity items, though those are only two pages of the vault, and I don't think as expensive either)

So many items in today's drop are lovely but I have completely forgotten that they existed. I'm guessing they probably came out in 2015/2016 when I was losing interest.

Survival is almost upon us! I was recently looking through my skins in the wardrobe, and I realized that at some point the skins must have gotten reset, because I have several skins that are locked which are the original zombie skins I had!

Fun fact about me, I am extremely grossed out by boils/blisters/pus, so of course the skins that I got tended to have those as the early stages. -_-

2009 - I got Virus - which ended up being my favorite out of the four! I very much wanted an HA item of the first two stages of Love Bug though.

2010 - Eyesore. I think everyone and their mother wanted Butterfly Bruise, I know there was a lot of interest in having the first stage become a wearable. While I had gotten the one that was definitely the most zombie-ish of the batch, I still don't particularly like it?

2011 - Heartburn - one that I enjoyed! Does anyone remember the controversy over this skin? I personally thought the outrage was overblown, though I could understand where the criticism was coming from. All in all, I do think the controversy actually ended up doing what the artist intended, which was bringing awareness to the harlequin baby condition. (personally, I think it helps that the art is not a direct take on the health condition, but more influenced by it. A lot of criticism was based off of using the disease to make a zombie, but it's different enough that I feel it works.) For final stages though, I was definitely envious of Brain Rot, much more traditional zombie in appearance.

2012 - The Baker. I thought for a moment that I'd gotten Blistered Hearts (definitely my favorite of the batch), but I remembered that this was when I was keeping my zapper skin, so I wasn't able to get an infection until The Baker, which you could get over a skin. This was also the introduction of Lobster Face, and I'm sad that a proposed name of Rose-acea didn't get the win. At the time, I remember not liking the name (I felt that it was only related to the last stage), but now that I'm familiar with what rosacea actually is, it's such a perfect fit. But, that is one of the downsides of a community voted name - people are going to choose for what they like, even when another option feels better. I've check the forums and my posts/topics, because I think this was the last year that I ran the tracking thread, and I was pretty sure that I had it listed as Lobster Face/Rose-acea (I did this for a few where there wasn't a full user consensus). Sadly, this looks like it was a post lost to time.

2013/2014 - until looking this up, I completely forgot that we didn't actually get zombie skins these years! We got the temporary items that we could use (and I used all of them, I think?), but no actual skins! I think there was enough grumbling and enjoyment of the skins though that as of

2015 - they were back! This was around when I'd gotten rid of my zapper skin too, and I got Grossfungus! Death Slug was definitely my favorite, and I got that one either this or the next year. Man, I forgot that it ended up being a race to see how many skins you could get before the event ended, because the first years, it was basically just one and done! (at least, I think so? It's long enough back that I can't fully remember XD) Deathworms was probably the most traditional of the year. I also remember that the staff temporary names were discovered or leaked or used for these skins, so this is the one year that there was no user made names. If I remember correctly, staff was actually very disappointed as the user names was one of the big appeals of the event, and it was very good for community building.

2016 - even though I was here, I don't think I actually participated in Survival. Again, this was really around when I was dropping off, and I only actually consider myself somewhat active in 2016 because the mini-plot with Steele and Saggi had me active again for a bit. ...nope I lied. According to my posts from the time, I picked one of the new skins. Bright Bite is the only one I have unlocked from this year, so it must have been the one that I got. I do see a post from me saying that I was trying to get a FOURTH skin that year, so I must have not really been paying attention to the skins themselves, but more in a wardrobe collectible mindset. I think Blood Rush is probably my favorite of this batch, but I find most of them to be ...well, they're FUN but they're not really ZOMBIE. Which I don't blame the artists for! Much like my disappointment with Masquerade being less steampunk as time went on, there is only so many unique ideas you can do before it looks like you're just doing the same thing over and over again.

2017 - Even though I refreshed Subeta like, once a day for bathhouse at this point, I still made an effort to check the zombie tracking thread every year. I think Clusterflux is my favorite, though I do like all of them! They mostly had a zombie-like feel, even if non-traditional. Only Caterkiller wasn't, and it's still a fun skin change.

2018 - Oddly, I have the Love Sucks skin unlocked somehow? Absolutely no posts though (my last post before this topic was 9/16/16 during the mini-plot). I must have seen it from the thread and decided I liked it enough to purchase it..... either that or there's a skin glitch and I got this skin without ever actually getting infected. XD It is most certainly the most zombie-like.

2019 - I guess Lobotomeat is my favorite? Around this time I was getting disappointed with the transition stages, even if the end stage was cool, it felt a bit 'meh' on how you got there? Buzzkill absolutely had the best transition stages, but I'm not a huge fan of the final stage, mainly due to how blocky it got. I'd ALMOST say that I wish the stage before it was the skin, but remember what I said up there about the things that really gross me out? yeaahhhh...

2020 - Honestly, this set has the most creative transitions, but I'm still not happy with them? I don't know, it's a case where you're not seeing the HA decay or change before your eyes, it's that you have a fantastically drawn overlay cover everything until you get the final skin. I guess Death Roe is my favorite for it's swamp thing esque design, as well as actually having transition stages.

2021 - I actually have Magical unlocked, and it is my favorite, but again, no recollection of actually doing this. Also, did these just not get names?

2022 - Escargloom is the best of the bunch, imo. But we are far and away from traditional zombie designs.

Overall, I think my ABSOLUTE favorite skins are Virus and Brain Rot, unsurprisingly also very very traditional in design.

Virus is definitely my favorite 2009 strain! I wasn't around until 2010 but loved seeing all the original zombies running around :D

Slightly smaller drop today, but that's because we're moving into Delish! (also there's still like 130 items from the big giveaway that someone was doing earlier, so have fun hunting!) to , with a few random items from special shops when I was clearing out currency.

I always wanted to do something with these, but never did. They're just so fun! Hell YES the deep sea set was so fun! I thought I used this one several times, but I'm not even sharing the HA I did use it on, because you can barely see it! (I do like the HA though, so you'll see it later on I'm sure) another piece I REALLY like but could never make work I want the plot to come back JUST FOR THE TRINKETS i love these so much Used this a bunch, still love it! (I still really really like the HA that I'm sharing for this) I love the whole delicate tinkering set here, but this got the most use from me SO FUCKING CUTE I CAN'T

I love how you’re posting old HAs. Some of them I swear I remember! I’ve been here for a long time and I am enjoying your reminisces. I wish I had as good of a memory as you do.
