So my doctor adjusted the cast yesterday as the foot was calmer so he could put it in a better position but boy did it hurt last night! But aside from the pain from that, it has been better than with the splints, ect. He told me that an MRI is a bit pointless as ligament tear or small fracture, the cast is the same healing method and he didn't wish to be frivolous since we have no insurance. He told me it would stay on for about 4 weeks at that point he'll assess the stability, pain, etc of the ankle then and I'll have to have surgery to repair it. So it's a waiting game now.

LOL that would be hilarious :D and fun lol. he's a nice guy. those names sound familiar. I have been to Savannah, yes and it has a long history of hauntings. We went on a haunting tour once, but I don't recall most of it.

agreed. Pain is significantly less even when it's bad so I'm kinda glad about even though I don't particularly enjoy the cast lol.

it's okay, i really am in a good place about it. At least the cast insures I shan't be damaging it or making more pain and it's already the best course of treatment. We are praying I don't need surgery as the recovery for that is a hellva lot longer. But other than that I'm mostly a little bummed about having finally gotten back to normal and then this happens which is frustrating. However, the cast does give me the mobility that I wouldn't be afforded. Not using the scooter is apparently, also better for the leg. Apparently, healing approaches have changed and they would rather see people walking around as it stimulates healing and circulation--so crutches are not preferred anymore, which is essentially what the scooter is.

I guess we'll find out in four weeks LOL. Hopefully all will work out alright. fish can be difficult

So, I have no idea what I was looking at that made me think I needed bouquets. If I ever find it again, I'll let you know. XD

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you don't need any further intervention once the cast comes off. :) lol! I know what you mean. I took one of those tours when I lived in New Orleans. I was such a tourist during it, looking wide-eyed at everything. We had a good tour guide but I don't remember a blessed thing he said about any of the places we saw. 😂

You really didn't ask me that, did you? I accidently cheated/stole from our local grocery store and now I'm trying to figure out how to make it right without getting my cohort in trouble with management. 😂 So I always go to the same cashier and a few weeks ago she put some Goo Gone and Dawn Ultra Powerwash (that I was purchasing) in the bag that I have all of my shopping bags in. (They've banned plastic bags here so I carry my own shopping bags) I didn't realize the 2 items were in there as I came out of the store and loaded the car up with a ton of groceries (that I paid for!! LOL ) and just didn't notice. I got home and thought she forgot the 2 items so a few days later I went back, got the 2 missing items and did some more grocery shopping. Then when she was checking me out, I told her the 2 items didn't make it home with me so she gave me the next 2 for free. Even gave me a $3.00 credit. ROTFL!! Then yesterday I'm at a different grocery store and realize the 2 missing items were in my bag of shopping bags all along. 😳 And now if I take them back will I get my cohort cashier in trouble? face palm :-D ROTFL!! What do I do? :-D

I just finished reading a book called Hench. It's about a woman who starts as a temp doing data entry for supervillains and her successes and setbacks in her career. Interesting superhero world building in it. At first she's pretty tiring honestly but later she gets more interesting. A villain POV like this is fairly rare in books...

I hope you end up not needing the surgery. If you get it though, I hope recovery is faster than you've experienced in the past.

Today is my 2 year anniversary with my partner E. We've had a nice day. My other partner, M, randomly bought me a game on Steam so I'm playing that. It's called Sun Haven and is fun. The migraine is a jerk, but eh. It'll go away eventually, I hope.
