I am with you. Maine Coones is my favorite. My boy was almost 20 years old when I lost him 2 years ago. But he is still my favorite Feline ever.

My dearly departed, king of my heart, Tiger (that's the name he came with from the pound and it didn't seem like he was game to have a new name so we stuck with it). When he first came to live with us he was extremely ferocious and violent and the vets wanted us to put him down or medicate him, but we said no, we're just going to work with him. It took some time but he turned into the sweetest, most loyal, most loving friend I'll ever have the good fortune to share my life with.
