It was a quiet day for me too, . Family members spent the day at with their in-laws. My son-in-law had to work. We will be getting together with some family on new years eve though. (hugs) ❤

Hellooo! Hugs all around! We had a powerful storm come through the coast and lost our electricity for 3 days!! OMG! It is nice to be back in civilization. It all happened before I could thank everyone for the gifts they left under my tree. We have only the wi fi calling, so when the power went out we lost our ability to use our phones as well. So I couldn't even call anyone or do anything on my phone. I sure hope that doesn't happen again anytime soon. We at least have a giant fireplace so we could stay warm. losing power is like living in the old times with candles and lanterns only, I think I ended up going to bed pretty early 3 days in a row. I really hope that doesn't happen with the next storm approaching us. Thank you all for the wonderful gifts you left under my tree. I will be thanking each of you individually. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! I am hoping and praying 2023 will be a much better year than the last two. Too a happy and healthy new year! I am sorry you were so lonely. Yes, the surgery was successful and I am feeling much better. I am still taking antibiotics so I don't get an infection, but I don't have to take pain meds as the pain went away. I have my post op appointment next week.

I'm so glad to hear that the pain has gone away! It sounds like you are on a path to a speedy recovery! ((Hugs)) - I can't believe its already the end of the year but I will admit, I am ready for 2022 to be in the history books and looking forward to a new year! I was alone on Christmas as well ( well I had my 2 sweet puppers with me). I worked 13 hours so it was a long day. It was definitely a different holiday this year but it was nice to know that my Subby friends are here to talk to. ((Hugs))
