Happy Luminaire everyone. :) Now I just need the weekend to get here so I can finally pull the sP from my shop till. After months of watching my till increase it will be fun to pull it all out and go on a shopping spree. :D

I haven't started putting anything under trees yet. All Sharks on my friends list will get stocking stuffer type items under their tree and special presents sent as gifts but not until closer to 12-25 to make sure everyone's WL is up to date. I will also be tossing a lot of stuff into the DC on 12-24 & 12-25. Happy lumi everyone. :D

I'm going to try and hop on here every day this month to visit Melody ad keep on top of notifications. If I find a safe spot for my laptop in the living room that will be easier to do.

William is now 8 months old and starting to figure out crawling, but still inchworms everywhere. He's capable of sitting up on his own or even pulling himself up to stand but he doesn't seem interested in it. He likes any toy that makes noise, even better if it's a ball that he can chase around. The cats are fairly comfortable around him but get skittish when he starts flailing his hands.
Yesterday I finally blocked my in-laws on Facebook and their phone numbers. I should have done it months ago. MIL likes to share posts on Facebook that make her look like the world's greatest grandma, yet she never asks to visit outside of D&D weekends. The last time we got together for D&D was in October and she couldn't miss church for one day to spend more time with family, yet last Sunday she skipped church to spend time with Chris's aunt and uncle who came to visit for Thanksgiving. In September, Chris and his parents decided that they would come visit on the Saturday before D&D under the pretense of watching William while we worked on organizing the garage, but then his mom said it was so she didn't have to split her attention between her 2 grandkids. I wasn't happy with Chris that he set that up, and then I got even more upset with him when he refused to tell his parents that no kisses or photos were allowed....because he didn't want to upset them since they hadn't done anything wrong yet.
Still need to get my Christmas tree up. It seems like if I don't get it up the Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving, it takes me forever to find the time to get it done.
I hope Thanksgiving went well for you and that you and your family are feeling better. I got sick Tuesday but I'm starting to feel a little more normal today. I now finally have a bit more freedom to get things done around the house. William is inchworming around (still trying to figure out crawling), but we've got a large play area fenced off for him so he can be safe if I'm not in the room. He only likes being by himself for about an hour though, so I have to get things done fast. Our garage is a bit of a mess again. We moved a couch out there (selling it tomorrow), got a free table (plan to convert it to a gaming table for the basement), and I've got 3 large boxes of games that I need to sort through. The mess wasn't a problem when my parents were borrowing my pickup, but now I've got it back and there's no space for it in the garage. I'm very familiar with cats chewing on electric cables. Mine have destroyed a few cables for gaming systems or chargers because they thought they wouldn't get caught. Then one of the other cats will bring the evidence upstairs for me to find.
My wishlists are up to date. :)
UGH I'm sorry hun! Try Mucinex or Delsym to keep the congestion at bay. Mucinex really helped me when I had Covid back in April.
~ I'm glad you are setting those boundaries with your In Laws. You sound like you've been busy and I can't believe William is almost crawling now. <3
I've had a major sinus headache today and we are about to lose power for some emergency powerline work so the Lumi board will get set up tomorrow.

William started to figure out that he could move around better by moving one leg forward at a time but so far seems to prefer the inchworm method. He's working on a third tooth. Finding clothes to fit him has been fun because he kept outgrowing everything so fast. Right now he is wearing 12 to 24-month clothing. I had so many cute outfits that he never got to wear because he grew so fast. He's set his own bedtime for 5 p.m. (an improvement over 4:30 p.m.) and just last week started sleeping all night. It took me way too long to decide to limit contact with my in-laws, but now I no longer have to wonder why I cease to exist to them except for holidays/special occasions. I've been staying fairly busy organizing things in the basement lately. I went through Christmas ornaments last week and got them repacked into fewer organizers. I might try and find some more ornaments organizers after Christmas though because they look nicer on the shelves than the plastic totes I currently have stacked on the floor. I still need to go through the rest of the Christmas decorations and Halloween decorations just to get everything organized better.
