ive been ok, mostly droning away at work. normally im not a holiday person but this year is gonna be the first time my brother, dad, and i can have one together in years so im actually looking forward to it.

oh ya it does so much. ive been on (more like on and off tho lol, thats mostly my fault tho) adhd meds 4 like 5 years and they r very helpful. once u get used 2 em tho it can b sooo easy 2 accidentally let urself go off of them bc u dnt realize how much they r helping now tht uve kind of normalized and yea. once uve been off em 4 a while u rly become aware of just how much ur struggling 2 do Basic Things skjdhf

i'm so glad to hear that!! i never thought about that effect of getting used to the meds so much that you forget to take them; i heard it can be a bit like that with hormones sometimes too. ig it's good that you at least know they're doing their job bc you have that comparison of what it's like when you accidentally come off them :') i'm sure the on-off-on-off cycle must drive you a bit nuts tho D: it seems like a cycle that's pretty easy to fall into ahh

tbh i feel like its quite a unique thing 4 adhd meds, tho i cant speak abt everything from experience. but its different rly cause they r the type of thing where u take the pill and then u feel it, rather than an anti-depressant tht u dnt rly feel a difference when u take it, it just gradually changes things. yeahhh it can b rly annoying and ik a lot of it is on me so then i beat myself up, yadda yadda. but when i saw my doctor last week she semi-chastised me 4 not coming in sooner so i think she'll b on me more abt tht and hopefully itll help!

ahh yeah that makes sense! is that bc adhd meds are stimulants? i hope i've got that right, i'm still a bit new to this! i heard that sometimes people are quite particular about what time of day they take their adhd meds bc they kick in immediately, so like, you probably wouldn't wanna take them right before bed or something, right? 🤔

aha yeah they're kind of unheard of these days, they were big when emo was in full bloom around 2004-2010. their more recent stuff is sooo different to back then tho. a couple of my fav songs are probably 'thumper' and 'marionettes ii', if you want some recs c: all good if their stuff isn't your thing tho!

you would not BELIEVE it but i ended up going to the ER again lmaooooooooo. 4 weeks after i was there for the concussion i cut myself (on thanksgiving). kflsmgklsdfkm. marcel told me he's gonna baby proof my house. im super ok tho.

tbh i got into being a lab tech on a whim. i was working at a dollar general and had 0 direction, but i was told i could get certified to be a lab tech via the army. and it wasnt a lie!!! so i got my degree and cert for free and now im just waiting for my contract to end so i can peace out and enjoy life lmao.
