Puppy Bowl is today =D

In February each year you can be bitten by zombies and acquire new skins. There are also new items released, I believe.

If you don't like zombies, you can turn off that option so no one can bite you. I'd suggest that if you don't like body horror.

Well, I love to play rags to riches challenges, so my current sim is poor as heck, jobless, currently pregnant and sick and keeps throwing up every few minutes. Not a fun time for her right now. She did just get a boyfriend though who she met at the club, so he was able to bring some extra money in, so that's good.

My grandson died today. He was only 18. I don't know any details but it was connected to his diabetes type 1. I am just so shocked.

- You've got that right. You're not prying. I'd rather you ask than wonder. I had a septic stroke when I was 43. It killed the optic nerve at the optic chiasm. If you know anything about the brain that's the point in your brain where your optic nerves cross. So, it was a case of two birds with one stone meaning that one clot was able to kill both nerves with no problem. I'd like to say that I'm past it but I still struggle every day, 8 years later, to accept it. :D

- If only I had a cat but hubby won't get me one. He thinks I'll step on it by accident. I told him I'd put a bell on it's collar but he said he didn't think it would help. I think he just doesn't want to clean out a litter pan. :d

My God, that's a type of stroke I haven't heard of. Have had a regular mild stoke and trans ischemic stroke - both sides of the family tree. So I have had to learn about those and the one miracle food that stops and turn the beginnings of dementia back and that is oatmeal - truly a miracle food. Could see the changes starting in me that I noticed in my father all my adult life so I could see the progression. When I started to notice some changes start I read up and learned that only 1 in 4 need to get that disease as usually you can turn it around if you start early enough is my guess. But I had oatmeal every morning for 4 months when I started to notice a beginning change back to normalcy. Had to place my father in assisted living when he was 80 and then not too long in a nursing home where he did pass. I take 4 low dose Bayer daily also, 2 in the AM and 2 in the PM.

Puppy Bowl is on Animal Planet where puppies 'play football'. It's adorable. It's there for those who don't care about the Superbowl.

We ended up watching a cheesey action movie instead last night.

Think I noticed that you like zombies as you watch Bruce Campbell films. For me I love horror movies, as a kid every weekend I would go to the movies to see a double feature, never failed that I would scream all night in nightmares. Drove my father crazy, he would always make me promise not to go back and I alway did - such a moth to the flame. Which brings me to the point I wanted to make - all thru the hacker moments the one way I stayed sane was to watch free Tubi TV - has an amazing amount of horror of all kinds especially my favorite Vampires. To further relax a couple of nights ago I was lucky enough to catch Dead and Lovin' It, hadn't seen it in about 20 years and is hysterically funny like most Mel Brooks films.

Zombies aren't my favorite. I need a good story/characters to like a zombie movie, show, or book. Such as the book World War Z is told in a unique way.

I started reading Stephen King in 9th grade after a friend suggested him. But I was frightened to watch most horror movies or shows until I was around 20 years old. Nowadays I love the horror genre and tend to watch things in that genre.

Brian tends to be right when he guesses this movie I want to show him is horror XD

I still read mainly fantasy and sci-fi, though.

I have a journal for these days and people can write in it, etc. And it was a great day. No plans but work. No cards or flowers to.. so far a normal day here. Hope your hubby feels better soon.

the nurse in me comes up with thoughts, meds, etc. -don't get mad i mean i good- don;t wanna step on anyones shoes. And there is no miracle food… But eating good and taking meds, vitamins on time helps… Some people react good on it and get a wee better and for some it doesn’t help. Always check with the specialist or doctor.

While I applaud the nurse in you she has not kept up with WebMD and Harvard Health, I get their news letters on a regular basis. Have learned things my doctor didn't know yet. One glaring thing is that taking calcium supplements also is bad for those with dementia and they have said only get your calcium from food. I realize that Oatmeal is not a cure all and to be effective there are other things that apply including meds, exercise, sleep and so on. But in line with other health things for myself once I added the oatmeal ma head started to clear more and more very gradual over months and pounds of the stuff. But now I feel absolutely fine but I was lucky to catch it in the beginning. Like you I only mean good as it is meant to inform only. And of course right after I queried about the Survival statue I remembered! Just so I express myself properly there are other film genres that I enjoy such as history. But when my mind was boggled by all the horrors of the hacker instead of watching fee paid I went to free Tubi TV as it really does have been categories even Court TV - but also so many of the old Film Rise horror offerings which can be so campy when all you really need is to smile.

don’t live in the USA so don’t read those kind of letters/mails. But I do read everything here. And do what is good for you and makes you feel better and healthy.
