I fell and scraped my knee pretty badly, had to keep it elevated. It's hard to Subeta on mobile! I'm ok though. How are you, and how's Liz?

We've cleared the weather threats nicely. We got some wind but nothing to threaten us in the least. The storms had swung further east so it was basically more like a gentle kiss. Brother and family are also safe.

Thursday night, however, I felt and noticed a lump on the back of my heal were the surgery was. By the end of Friday, it had gotten extremely painful and I told my parents about it. We'd just done so much running around on Friday that I really didn't have time to stop and assess. Saturday morning comes and I can't even put on a shoe and can barely walk with it. So I'm back to using a scooter and I guess I'll be calling the doctor on Monday morning. I'm really upset because I was just about back to normal. 😔

<3 <3 Yesterday got away from me. We got home from lunch (for Liz's upcoming birthday) a lot later than I planned. The girl had me running all over the mall looking for some jade earrings only to find out they really weren't that important to her. LOL! She may be spoiled. :-)

Normally, I'm the mess and she's the logical one of us. LOL! She got a jade elephant pendant for her birthday so thought she needed jade earrings but the only ones we found were expensive (300$) so I'm glad she didn't insist on them.

I really don't think of jade as expensive but maybe the gold or the silver used with it. But then again these days it could be the jade too. It's just a little jade elephant and she actually picked it out and I was surprised since it's not zodiac, Sailor Moon or the color pink. Lol Edit to add: the necklace itself was only 40$ and it's on a black string and was why I'm thinking it's the metal used in the earrings that's so expensive.

I don't know too much about stones, tbh 😂 That makes sense about the metal making the cost more >_< Awww she likes Sailor Moon too?

Knee is healing. It's still angry but I can walk on it and it's not stiff. Yeah. I also found out my eyes got much worse since last year, so I'm definitely not happy with my eyesight and how strong my new glasses are. At least they're hella cute frames?

She loves Sailor Moon and has been wearing the same Sailor Jupiter Halloween costume for the last 5 or 6 years. LOL!

He is! So far he's called me twice today asking about Liz and pajama sizes. (in the past I told him she loves pajamas) First call: What size does Liz wear? Second call: Is that in girls or womens? 😂 She's working and after I pick her up we're going grocery shopping. Then BF#2 coming over at 1pm to cook her an early birthday dinner. Breakfast for dinner - french toast, sausage and eggs. Now you know what part of tomorrow I'm dreading. rotfl

So devastating news. Im back in a cast. I have a ruptured tendon. The cast will protect it while it heals. And I’ll have it for at least two weeks. But it gets worse, My high arches make for a weak leg and more chances for damage thus He told me I won’t be able to kickbox or do my dancing games again which is even more devastating. I’ll have to look at games or a machine that will provide less impact on the feet. I love those games so this is crippling. Plus how am i to work on loosing weight when my best workouts are now gone.
