Wow, that is a creepy dream! Your dream sounds very cohesive, too. Mine aren't usually cohesive.
My scariest dream was several years ago. The dream itself wasn't that scary, but I got a horrible feeling from it.
I was sitting on my front porch when all the sudden I saw a man fall from the sky and hit the ground across the street. He lay motionless on the ground and was obviously dead. Just witnessing it gave me an immense sense of dread and unavoidable doom. I felt like God had died, and all hell was about to break loose with no hope of salvation. It scared the shit out of me.
Okay. Scariest. I sleep in nightmares, but I'll tell you the scariest one for me.
So. I tend to always live in this haunted house. It seems nice and all. But only half of it does. I can stay on only one half of this haunted house. If I go down this hallway to the other side I end up getting terrified immediately. Every time I tried going down the hallway I'll always hear whispers and ghost children in hospital gowns. So I stay AWAY from that side. Recently, in that dream area, my cousin tried to go down that hallway. I felt uncomfortable and tried going to get them, but they came running back down the hallway before I could even move to. Then my aunt goes "there's nothing to be afraid of. you just need to get to know them". That's when I knew that whatever was down that hallways is bad because my entire family does not believe in the supernatural. Only I do.
Anyway. The end.
I had a dream last week or so where I was in a reoccuring place (a specific haunted house) and about to come face to face with a ghost when my roommates voice yelled out my name and I woke up.
It was like 3 am and no, my roommate was not calling for me.
Super wild, lol.
My boyfriend recently got the remastered version of the video game Dead Space which has these monsters called necromorphs that are all absolutely disgusting. I was reading about all the lore and game play and characters and different monsters, and let's just say that the games... don't have a happy ending. I don't remember much from my nightmare other than the fact I was in the Dead Space universe with all the monsters. It felt like a zombie apocalypse kind of scenario only the zombies are replaced with much more terrifying/dangerous monsters
I had a dream that I was staying in a hotel with my fiance as well as an old coworker we had, and in the middle of the night we woke up to the room being full of GIANT lobsters. They were climbing up the walls and trying to kill us.
Said old coworker proudly proclaims that the lobsters were the reason he booked the hotel, and begins smashing them with a hammer and eating their meat raw, like a wild animal.
I dont know why I was so afraid of the lobsters but I visually can picture waking up, pulling back the covers of the hotel sheets, and seeing my legs covered in lobsters.
