I still have yet to get my first tattoo and I'm really excited about it! It's going to be a Set Animal and it'll be on my leg, spectifically my ankle. Thing is, tattoos cost a lot right now, and I wanna save up money to get it. I suppose even small tattoos cost a lot.
I'd really like to get big tattoos and more, but of course I am very wary about money and I don't know how well I can stand needles for a good long time.
My first and only tattoo (so far) is a pair of daggers crossed on the left side of my chest. It's the weapons that Rikku uses in Final Fantasy X-2. She's always been my favorite character from the entire series, until Vanille and Lightning from FFXIII.
But I'm currently looking for someone to draw me up a good picture of Vanellope Von Schweets from Wreck-it Ralph. I wanna get her above my right ankle. My reasoning is kinda personal. I have tourettes (motor tics, not the cussing kind), and I twitch. She get's made fun of for her glitching problem and I got made fun of for my twitching problem. So it's something I can relate to and hits home for me.
I'm also looking to get a Cherry Blossom tree on the inside of my right inner forearm and have the roots outline my veins in my wrist and go down to my palm. I wanna get a tribute tattoo to one of my cats that's passed away across my finger, S-C-A-R-L-E-T-T. I want a Medusa head biting one of her snakes that got out of hand on my upper left thigh in black and gray. I feel Medusa is one of those type of tattoos that looks better in black and gray. And I want sort of a slutty anime girl on the back of my left calf inside of a keyhole, she'll be my keyhoe. Unfortunately that's not an original idea, I was with a friend about 10 or so years ago and we were walking to a gas station and I saw it on some guy and talked to him about it. I've been set on getting that ever since. As for my back, I want a wizard with an orb and smoke surrounding him. And I want Lilith (yes the whore) on my left calf or possible on my inner left arm. Depends on how it looks cause I wanna ask the artist to give me their interpretation of her. And of course the sigil of Baphomet on my left shoulder as a shoulder cap.
But I do self harm (cut and burn) so I'm also concerned as to if my scars can be tattooed over. And if so how many times I'd have to go in and get it touched up until I can't see them anymore. I'm sick of looking at these constant reminders ya know?
Money's an issue at the moment, plus I've moved around so much that if I start something, the same artist wouldn't be able to finish it and that usually doesn't work out too well.
When I got mine I didn't even feel it and didn't know we started until he was halfway done with the outline. After that it just felt warm until her closer to my armpit. As for cleaning and healing, I was told to use unscented anti bacterial bar soap and ultra healing lotion. So I went to Walmart and got a bar of Dove soap and Equate lotion. I didn't have any issues with healing, only a little itching but that's nothing that a few little light slaps couldn't fix. But as someone who has seen a lot of tattoo vlogers on youtube and known people who have done tattoos. ALWAYS LISTEN TO THE ARTIST WHEN IT COMES TO AFTER CARE!!!! Don't listen to a friend who says, "Well this works better". The person who did the tattoo knows better than your friend.
Your tattoo is stunning! I have 15 in total, most painful was my foot. I'm currently trying to decide on my next, all I know for sure is I want a stomach tattoo. I personally dry heal mine providing they aren't on a joint.
I have two tattoos, both Winnie the pooh, in different styles, both on upper arm muscles, both didn't hurt me, one on each arm
I'm ready for more I have them picked out, I want an A for Alabama on me that says ROLL TIDE or something like that

Activities
I have two that my best friend did. The earth symbol on my arm and text on my ribcage.
I have one tattoo, got it in November 2015 while I was in grad school in Buffalo. It was my belated 30th birthday gift to myself since it was 2 months after my birthday. As for pain, pretty mild pain( it's on my back behind my left shoulder blade). I want a second one eventually, maybe when I turn 40( I'm 37) right now and then I'll probably stop at the 2. tattoo image
It's a reference to the Disney Peter Pan, second star to the right and straight on till morning. As for info: The location I got mine had a relatively low pain tolerance( and admittedly, I chose that area because of lower pain threshold). Also, I wanted to have it in a hide-able location because of conservative parents who'd get up in arms seeing it, and because of possible jobs not liking visible tattoos.
I also got mine in black ink largely because I wasn't sure how my skin which can be pretty sensitive was going to react to colored ink. Also, since tattoos are permanent, always consider whether you really, really want it. I've wanted a tattoo in some form since I was 18, and didn't even get one until I was 30 partially because I'm a wuss when it comes to pain and, I really wanted to really want one before actually getting one. I used Aquaphor and unscented gold dial mainly for cleaning, both at the recommendation of the tattoo artist.
As for other info: Tattoo was done by Divine Machine Tattoo( I was living in Buffalo for grad school at the time). and tattoo artist was: givemetheskull on instagram.
I really want a tattoo but don't have one yet. I think the first tattoo I'll get will be my chinchilla's paw prints!
I have two tattoos so far--- A moth on my forearm with the quote "You carry the aura of the stars." and the other Venti in his pre-god form surrounded by flowers.
both are kinda nerdy and stupid but I like them regardless. It's been a year since I've gotten a new one and I'm really deliberating on my next one.
I'm thinking my next one will be my cat, but there's kinda particular style i like a lot that's popular amongst South Korean tattoo artists that I'd like done --- but I haven't seen any stateside that really emulate that style yet.
I have at least 30 tats these days, probably closer to the higher 30s... I'm running out of room at this point lol
I have horns tattoos on my scalp, those are probably one of my favorites... As well as the purple and lime green tentacles around my neck. And my Kuromi tattoo on my leg.
So many more, though. and I am far from done.
Got my first tat at 15 and never looked back.
