So for a T8 to do any damage really to this beast, what would be a recommended not extremely expensive set? I'm just starting to get into battling, and it's not something I'll ever really get strongly into, but I do want to do more than like... 700 damage against this one so.

Doesn’t matter. He’ll kill you eventually regardless. You really just want to do as much damage as you can and freeze him as much as possible.

I figure the ultimate dark matter is best to blast because those are the 100% gunna kill you unless you full block attacks?

looking for advice, only doing around 50k per turn. loadout is this +11 shrieks. not shrieking on the first turn. using shard when shrieks run out just incase. able to hold myself for a few good runs, just dunno if 50k is good for my stats you can check my stats on my pet underneath me would be up for some cheeky lends, aha

Get rid of the blaster and soma. Hydra has a ton of weapons so you aren't helping yourself. Replace with bombs which you only use when it's frozen. It doesn't steal so you only need 2 main attackers. Use the spot for another full blocker, or bomb or curse generator.

i have the bear head and the acorn, they any good? don't have much, my armoury is quite sparse tbh

Bear head is one of best bombs and acorn will work.

can you show me an example of what a curse generator is? i'm very unga bunga when it comes to battling, no nuance at all with me, so simple terms are appreciated. honestly have no idea how i got to where i am. probably sheer grit and determination

Mecha's smoking gun curse is an example but you already have that. Captured Eternal Flame is a good one. Always use curse generators at the beginning to get full effect when you bomb and over the length of the fight.

gotcha! also, replaced the acorn bomb with iron Fireside Lantern since yeah less icons but more of a whollop. thanks for taking the time to explain to me, i appreciate it!

Sucks there isn't a new combo like last time. That was a good way of dealing with the influx of cores.
