Every time I think you all can't possibly top your last postings, you do! Your stealth missions were incredible and waaay too involving for a simple game assignment, and many of your HAs had me laughing out loud. You so captured arrogant, hypocritical. and generally useless bureaucrats! You all got full points if you submitted your team's entries.

The puzzles were the crazy-making portion, but you held up well! I'm so proud of you!! That taxi problem was a number-crunching demon to say the least. I adapted one of the most difficult challenges I could find, since it was perfect for what I needed.

I included a big clue in the puzzle itself by making the two fleets of cabs six each, so you had a set of 1-6 and 7-12 to work with. Alas. only picked up on it. and she disregarded it as too trivial to be important.

Hopefully, you almost all got it, with or without the hint of the cabbie being age 48. This puzzle appears in lots of forms, but I used the "Two Wizards Ride the Bus" variant. If you google (literally) the answer to that puzzle, you will see the number crunching you had to do. (The negation part of it, where you CAN'T be sure, was the killer/stumper.) At least, you all stopped short of boiling my head. :D

The answer was 12.

Scores have been updated in the first post. The next part, which features lots of magic and alchemy will be up after the US 4th weekend. No leftover barbecue, but lots of fun ahead I hope! <3

I'm okay. My grandmother's memorial was Sunday and it was very hard. We cried a lot but smiled too. She was a funny lady who loved adventures and excitement. I know we'll survive, but it feels a little bad right now. <3

My kids are now sick and My house is a wreck. I keep thinking of Molly in Harry Potter, animating things to get chores done for her family. Kinda want that right now so I can just take a break. hehe. :)

That's good, that there were smiles too. Hope the kids recover fast and you can rest some soon :)

First of all, I did NOT ghost you! I went in for a imple procedure to improve my vision, and it should have run like clockwork. Complications are rare, but, as I learned to my horror, they do happen. I got an infection in my eye. yes, inside the eyeball itself! Fortunately, it was caught early, but it required a second operation to clean it out and defeat the infection. That succeeded, thankfully, but my sight was literally suspended while I recovered. So I could not post or read, or write, you get the picture. I am much better now, halfway through recovery, and hopefully I will get all or at least most, of my sight back. All good thoughts appreciated.

Anyway, I'm back, and I will try to give you a good ending to the adventure this week, and add more prizes to the Squirrel's Bounty. Scores have already been updated, and you can send in your requests for what's in the shop now.
