- Maybe it's just early and I haven't had enough coffee, but I don't understand the new "dark matter vs. darkmatter" change, especially when the item name has it one way, but the description has it the other.
For example:
[I]Description: This is made purely of dark matter! Do not eat it![/I]
I'm confused because if it's made out of the minion, which we're now referring to with two words, shouldn't the item itself also be two words since it's made out of that?
I'm so confused
Yeah, I also feel like this distinction will lead to confusion and inconsistencies down the line. There are already some inconsistencies in the way it is now after the change.
Another example now has it as one word but and have it as two words
And looking through some of the other items too, it seems to be kind of random which items have it as one word vs two words. Because most of the food items now have it as one word as an adjective, but there are still a pie, sandwich, and some lollipops with it as two words.
From what I understand of Galaxia's explanation, the actual minions themselves and I guess items referring directly to the minion (such as books about them, the plushies, and such) are supposed to have it as two words while everything else using it as just an adjective or descriptor is supposed to have it as one word, but it looks like some things may have gotten overlooked and not changed, I dunno.
Think of it also as an adjective. There's a bloodred Candy Bar, for instance, so darkmatter in this case becomes the color version of it rather than being named after the minion.
Those are food versions of a minion, so they're keeping most of the name of the other item they're based on.

Eh, it still doesn't really make sense to me. The jawbreakers I mentioned all use basically the same image, so why is one of them Darkmatter while the other two are Dark Matter?
And where is the line drawn between food versions of the minion vs food items that just use it as a descriptor when the item images look like some of those other foods have actual Dark Matters in them, so I guess I'm not understanding why some are different.
I get that it's adjective vs minion, but some items seem like they could go either way so it creates kind of a gray area.
The cursed aura darkmatter, lorewise, is essentially dark matters and their, er, dark magic from Maleria possessing or infecting an item. So in many cases a darkmatter item is going to have dark matter in the item image the same way an angelic item has a halo.
That jawbreaker is definitely in that gray area and there are going to be some things where it's a little wibbly, it's unfortunately the nature of language. And it can be changed, I am leaning more and more towards that jawbreaker being two words.

The feedback from y'all was super helpful. I took it to hear and renamed some more things. What's left should hopefully be much clearer as to how the two-word version relates specifically to the minion, which is the following list:

We got it. Thanks for checking!
Thank you so very much for making that comprehensive list for us over at SL ❤️
Mutton Chops vs Muttonchops!
Two words: & recolors & recolors
One word:
I suppose it would make the most sense to change the 4 Faux Muttonchops to be Faux Mutton Chops!
- Just letting you know that we've had several "bubblegum" items slip through recently when it had been decided that Subeta would be using "bubble gum" instead. The official items are below.
Name only
Description only
Name and description
- I forgot to let you know, but I added "muttonchops vs. mutton chops" into the first post. A quick little search in the dictionary indicates that "muttonchops" refers to facial hair while "mutton chop" refers to a piece of meat, so I'm leaning toward the single word being correct usage here on Subeta, but we'll see what the admins decide.
- Sorry for the wrong ping - I get your username and 's mixed up all the time. 🤦
I'm sorry it's taken me a bit to get to this! I'll ping you again once I've fixed those items.
For the muttonchops versus mutton chops, very good point! I think the hair/food distinction will be used, like grey being acceptable in the context of earl grey, but will also update that when I get the confirmation.

The 'affinity master' scroll rarities are all over the place:
Details
[item2=Spacial Abyss Scroll]: 165
[item2=Diamond Edge Scroll]: 170
[item2=Pyromortar Scroll]: 165
[item2=Galactic Beatdown Scroll]: 170
[item2=Meteor Storm Scroll]: 170
[item2=Holy Deluge Scroll]: 165
[item2=Aero Subzero Scroll]: 150
They're all Genetech combos, not loot, so presumably they ought to be r165.
Also, while all of the other master scrolls are created by combining a level 5 Shrine scroll with the tome and shard of the same element, Aero Subzero (the wind scroll) is created with the Tome of Life and Life Shard. I know that this is because the Tome of Wind and Wind Shard didn't exist when it was introduced, but now that they do, should it be changed? The status quo is pretty confusing, and there's no good reason for it anymore (not even conservatism on value, since the tomes/shards are economically equivalent).
Under "Sweety Dead vs Sweetydead" there's another new item that needs to have the space added:
Which is weird because the two other items from this month's collection have the space lol
eyedrops vs eye drops. 60 items have it as two words, while the following 4 items use the single word:
the dictionary lists both as correct, but with "eye drops" as the default/main version, which is how most of the eye drop items are named, so i think it's meant to be two words and these 4 outliers were oversights.
(there are also 7 CWs that use "eyedrops" as one word.)
- I'm sorry it took me so long, but I have added your concern about the scrolls to the section about rarity inconsistencies.
and - I have also added your updates. Thank you for noticing and alerting me!
Late realization, but there was another Sweetydead item that slipped through last month -
- Adding the plushie :)
