When you get dressed, are you sure that you own the items that you try? It sounds like you don't have the wardrobe filtered to just your clothing. When you go into the wardrobe, go to the items tab and look for the visibility filter (you may have to unhide the filters if you don't see it). Make sure that "owned items" is selected.
If you try and save an outfit with items you don't own, then it will show as half naked.

Thank you for pointing that out. I just explored and experimented and found half the items on these outfits I don't own. I am not sure how that happened though, because I remember at some point though making similar outfits with clothing I owned before the upgrade. So its very strange. And all the clothes I don't own or most in these outfits are custom clothing which is even weirder.
you might want to try making a list of those missing CW items so they can see if they're on the list of ones that were deleted in a bug last year (I think it was last year).
It wasn't CW, but normal clothing. I created a similar outfit with some difference that didn't have CW, but the outfit I thought I saved is gone. I can't fully remember what it looked like anymore. I'll just make new outfits. I am just glad the issue I had is resolved.
