Can I put a request in that it not be something phone linked, or if it is, make it something like google's authenticator (which has a free tier up to 50k users per month) that is already in common usage? So much easier when I don't have to install a bunch of different things on my ancient cellphone!

I hope this means I won't have to log into new subeta every single day on all my devices sometimes multiple times a day anymore. I've been so sick of this and have just given up on accessing the forums while on mobile because punching in my pw on my phone every day is too time consuming and inconvenient. I never used to have this problem - I logged in once when authentication came out and stayed logged in.. until December when the site had issues. When the site came back up I ended up being logged in as random users on the new site and could only fix it by logging out and logging in as myself... Which I've had to do every single day since. 😔

I've refrained from complaining too much but I'm at my wit's end! If this is a change that will fix this it cannot come soon enough. Thank you.

Question: since I can't login in new.subeta.net and the wardrobe is there, is there a way to get to the old wardrobe so I can change my HA when using safari on my iPhone or macbook?

[edit] I was also having white pages for forums, but clearing the cache took care of that problem.

Why do I keep having to log into new subeta every 10 minutes? When will this authentication issue be fixed?

I'm sorry, but I cannot take this anymore. If I was at my wits end when I first replied here in January, then I am about to lose it now. When I posted that, I would have to log in one or two times every day. I am now having to log in more than 5 times a day, I literally just logged in, read a thread and wrote a post over the course of like 10 minutes, and found that I had been logged out again. After 10 minutes. This is infuriating on its own, but I am especially getting ticked off because survival is right around the corner and I need to be able to access the forums often to bite people. This cannot be fixed fast enough, please, are there any updates???? I seriously can't even finish writing this post before I'm logged out again - I opened the first page to re-read the first post and NOPE log in again.

I'm going to check in on the direction we're taking with this and progress thereof, I know it's frustrating. We called this out as an issue we needed to address because we know it's actively interfering with the experience and we do want to solve this the best way possible. Thank you for sticking with us in the meantime.

Believe me I love subeta and don't want to or plan on leaving, which makes it even more disheartening since I won't just walk away. Only headdesk in frustration. Thank you for posting.

I don't know what was going on on that day but it was the worst I've ever been made to login excessively. I don't know if this will help anyone in the meantime but I resorted to leaving the login tab open (where it says logging in... endlessly) and go about my business in another tab. When I found myself logged out I would go back and click the logging in... button again and get logged back in without having to type out all my info again. Saved some time there.

Since that day I've gone back to the slightly less annoying "still have to log in every day" but at least it's only once a day again.

I haven't been having as much trouble with getting randomly logged out. However, my wardrobe just seems to be perpetually saying "Loading your avatar data..." in both Chrome and FireFox. Logged out and back in again to see if it needed a 'refresh' but it's still just perpetually loading.

This is a significant improvement for me and I'm very happy with this change and hope it stays.

I noticed right away last night, I usually don't bother with subeta on my phone anymore since punching in my pw repeatedly was too difficult. I planned to log in to new sub on my phone so I could bite people while I was away and to my surprise I'd been logged back in automatically!

And today, same deal on my desktop. I've stayed logged in from yesterday. Although I'm having trouble getting to my wardrobe and thus skins. It just sits there saying Loading your avatar data... (nvm it loaded when I did a hard refresh)

I wasn't having any issues yesterday, but when I got on today I noticed it had kept me logged in from yesterday without having to log in again (usually I would have to relog after not being online for so long).

But I'm having the same issue with not being able to load wardrobe items and skins or anything really. The page itself loads and shows me logged in, and forums are loading just fine. But within the wardrobe itself, I'm just getting " Loading your avatar data..." with an endless spinning circle. I've tried logging in on different browsers, I've tried mobile instead of desktop, I've tried clearing my browser cache, and I've tried logging out and back in several times. None of that seems to help.

[edit]Clearing browser cache makes it load sometimes, but if I refresh the page it goes back to not loading again. And it doesn't even work every time, in fact most of the time it does not work, I think I've only gotten it to load twice so far by clearing my cache and I've tried a lot.

I was logged in for, I think, 5 days, could post on the forums AND had access to my wardrobe. A HUGE improvement, esp. during forum heavy events. Just 3 minutes ago, though, I had to do the log in/out again, because I couldn't see postings anymore. I DO hope, it'll last as long as it did again!

Together with staying logged in, the kissing links (other than in forums) started to work for me. I admit, I forgot to try those, because I was eager to go back to the boards...
