books? They're for a subscription challenger we finished up a while back. We only statted the thing; I have no idea which subscription tier(s) will include it or when it will be added. Just letting you know it's coming sometime so you can stop wondering about the book loot.
We do still plan to do a gelatin war early this year. Working out a good time for it, and waiting on some new loot.

I didn&;t consider that there would be a challenger that was tied to subscriptions. Will it be unlocked automatically for subscriptions of a certain tier, or will it involve and unlocking item that they receive? Or do you not know that yet?

No clue! We just SPOILER (click to toggle)
came up with the challenger concept and statted it. The details of which tiers get it and how exactly it's unlocked aren't hammered out yet, I don't think.
<p>Giving out various tokens, up to impossible, for this subscription challenger is seriously so clutch (Especially for new battlers). Just wanted to pop in and give y’all some props.
Yeah, that a nice little bonus we thought would be nice, since it's a different kind of challenger! Even if the books are the real prizes :P
Yeah, that was the idea. We haven't forgotten, I promise! We'd really like to fit a Gelatin War in asap (obviously not til after Survival), and I believe new loot is already all drawn up for those challengers.
