the movie is called "little Lord Fauntleroy" (1980 version) and it has had several films made of.
It's an english classic and I prefer watching it in englsi since the German voices are.... naaawwww
but then I tend to watch all movies in english if I can get my hands on them XD
- 3 Haselnüsse? (it's a Cinderella version from I think polish? film makers - it's liek 40 years old and soooooo cute it's about 3 hazelnuts that gift Cinderella three "costumes" so she can whoo her prince)

~I have read the book, but never seen a movie version of it, but I can about recite "A Little Princess" by the same Author. XD as for Ulalena's I guessed Frozen because she mentioned a theme song she liked anyway LOL if it's a European film I have seen a few, but not....many.

- I tried my best with what purple items and there wasn't a perfect facial hair feature on the site, sorry! XD It's the goblin king from the 1997 cartoon version of Babes in Toyland. They showed this around Christmas / holiday time when I was a kid for 2-3 years in a row and I always watched it.
~Ahhhhh than explains why I was like O_O I have NO idea...I have never seen it. I have heard of it. That's all LOL.

Yes, Beren is right, "Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel" means "3 Hazelnuts for Cinderella". It's a Czech fantasy movie production, oldie but goodie. Here is a link - you'll fall for the lovely soothing title melody:

~Ahahahaha very clever, it was the cheeky smile nice take on it!
~And I would absolutely not know that at all, we don;t get a lot of European Holiday films here. I recall a Danish production of East of the Sun, and West of the Moon, and a really gorgeous English/French production of Beauty and the Beast. And a few others. Ofc the classic Russian Ballet film of the Nutcracker. :D but mostly the American Holiday stuff.
~Yep definitely one I have not seen
~Your Charades HA was awesome, I knew EXACTLY who she was supposed to be :D you are welcome and I will send that right along, I am glad you like the Toque, I drew it FOR this contest.
~LOL I had no idea they'd made a movie based on that song....it's funny for sure, but in that O_O; that's so WRONG sorta way XD But that's Ray Stevens for you, that was his thing. Listen to Speedball some time.
~I thought Jack was such a cutie in that movie, and big old tattooed Russian Santa....yas! I'll send along your goodie here shortly!
~That is one of my favorite ever Holiday specials. It was the first inkling for me that Christmas/Yule had much older origins than Christianity. It was really eye opening when I realized it. I LOVED his sweet fae foster mother. :3 Wizards, Faeries, Old Gods, Virtuous humans earning immortality, what's not to love?
~Awesome, and yeah I have never seen the whole movie, I was right at the age to mostly entirely miss it, cuz I was interested in much more grown up holiday fare. IE early to mid twenties if I recall.
