Also working on the hair :) I also love those skirts-- they remind me very much of skirts I wear IRL (but mine are longer). I love an A-line/midi skirt. I got myself a couple of them this year that are thick and lined so I can wear them in the winter and it's amazing!

we get about 5 months of it where I am in the states (depending on your idea of "winter", anyway-- I think our first snow here was mid-Nov, and we will often have it into April), but only about 2 months where it's super unpleasant. I try to avoid going outside as much as possible during January and February XD

you're absolutely right - the artist(s) did a wonderful job with those backgrounds! i just spent like 10 minutes in my inventory just staring at the cabin key background! and i'm even more excited to show him the background because i just realized something about it that i didn't notice before: it has a wood stove!! he's gonna freak.....my S/O has a wood stove and he ABSOLUTELY loves it. like, seriously. he spends hours in front of it just watching the wood burn and stoking the fire. he really loves his wood stove and i do too honestly, but his love for his wood stove and snow on the trees and things like that is just so endearing. xP i'll just sit here and watch him while he watches the fire...LOL

hahaha my husband keeps telling me we need to move to Canada, and I basically tell him that we already live in an area where the air hurts my face 3-4 months a year.. I don't want to make that worse XD

funnily enough, I grew up on the west coast of the US in California-- it was a HUGE deal when it would even get cold enough to develop frost on the grass overnight, let alone snow! I only ever saw snow when we'd go up to the mountains. I remember very vividly the first time I saw snow falling once I moved here-- I thought it was the neatest thing in the whole world! It's been many years since then and the novelty has admittedly worn off quite a bit ;)

so glad you enjoyed them! That's so neat about the wood stove-- I've never used one before! We have just a plain fireplace in our house but never use it because our small dog is ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED of fire. We're talking catatonic shaking for hours afterward. LOL. We learned our lesson the first time we started one up! She's the same way if the smoke detector beeps (even if it's just a "low battery" beep!), so we change those every 6 months religiously because she gets just so distraught and we can't handle it. Haha.

I totally get it. I got super excited to travel to Europe for new year to finally see it snow, and then it was the hottest winter in the century, I was in a tank top! I was able to see it a few years later and it was fun, the first few minutes, after that all got muddy and it was messy!

Anyway, I hope you had a great Christmas! I left a few items under your tree as a small thank, wishing you the best!
