👋🏼 Hey everyone, we've got an exciting update in the wardrobe for you! In addition to shipping recent improvements to the outfits page, we're now introducing the ability to self organize them: Tags!

Adding tags to your outfit is easy, just open your saved avatars and find the one you want to tag. Click into it, and you'll be able to add up to 5 tags to each outfit. Tags are shared across your outfits, so after you create them they should be easy to go through and add.

Private Search

Once you've tagged a few of your outfits, you can go back to the main outfits page and use the filter to search through them.

🔜 Updates to come In the spirit of trying to get things out faster, test them, and then iterate, we're pushing this out with our eyes on future improvements in addition to any bug fixes.

• If you switch the privacy to "All Public", you'll start to see outfits with tags on them. Selecting a tag will add it to your filter, but at the moment you cannot add them without this step. Soon you'll be able to input the tags directly, when we have a small database of tags to display and search. The reason for this is we haven't put very strong filters in place to stop bad words or slurs, and so want to watch how tags begin to populate before exposing the full database to all users
• The filter on tags currently uses an or search method (Morostide OR Comfy, if you have them both selected in the filter) instead of an AND method. This will soon be updated, either as a toggle or changed entirely to AND style searching
• We're aware of a bug that sometimes ends up putting you in the 'public' view, not being able to return to the private view. If this happens to you, close your browser and come back to new.subeta.net

Oh no! I did get rid of a lot of the stuff from the first version of new.subeta.net that was making our theme configuration really weird. I'll take a look at that dark mode stuff.
