Saving billions is a lot of work and it interferes with achievement hunting other achievements. I would keep it in mind and try to sock away a few sP here and there so you have a starting point if they ever get around to fixing it. But otherwise concentrate on other achievements.

That sounds like a plan in the meantime. I actually found that the more sP I have, the easier it is to save sP and work on other achievements too.

I agree. When I was working on richest user, for a long time I wasn't "working" actively. I just kept it in mind, kept an eye out for anyone starting a pool and regularly set sP aside.

I actually found it harder to work on the shopping till achievement. When I was working on that one I found myself feeling deprived and inconvenienced. For richest user I needed a much larger pile of sP, and yet it was easier, not quite sure how that worked.

Exactly! It's good to know I'm not the only one to find that the case. I still haven't had a shop make a billion sP yet but I do have the shop till achievement. I'm so close too! I need about another 30 million or so in sales. I hope they figure out a way to fix the richest user but I think one of the biggest problems is getting users who already have the achievement to use their sP, making it easier for other users to save up enough to get it. Until then, I'll keep wishing and making sP.

I see it is not possible right now to get the achievement. But whenever it gets fixed, I would like to join the group. Untill than ... more saving I guess ^_^
