Was talking to some peeps recently, and considering how the masquerade has been releasing a lot of synthwave/cyberpunk stuff, I also think it would be a good idea. Pets with neon tubes and robotic parts and such.

I’d love to see Pixelated, Raver, Fallen (as in Fallen Angelic pets), Corruption (yes I know we have Experiments but what if the zapper Corrupted some, it’s a fantastic idea on my side but it’s just my opinion you don’t have to do it, ya know) and we might need some some species but you never know what ideas like cars, cards and others like let’s see uhh I lost my mind again and there probably working on some blobs but steamwork should be a gear.

YES YES YES THIS, a counterpart to steamwork called like, idk cyborg/automaton/android or smth!!! probably my biggest Want color-wise.

Or perhaps a theme about more "primal" or "dinosaur-like" versions of the pets or a counter-theme to Chibi where the pets look older?

I'm patiently waiting for a glacier yaherra. Winter is almost over though...so hopefully next year. :(

I think it could look really cute with a little bean sprout on the head instead of the adult flower lol

I'd like to see a beetle pet or experiment - a cute lil round thing, a bit like an Australian Christmas beetle. It can be as realistic or cute as people want it to be, but you could have some great variations like a stag beetle etc.

Seconding a plant - I like the idea of a Blob-like pet but like, a little potted cactus or succulent, in all the different colours it comes in.

Colours:

Moss - would be great! Overgrown with fungus and moss and aged - maybe the pets themselves can look like they're made of old wood, similar in theme to Glade and Harvest.

Stone - stone/marble pets, maybe with gemstone highlights. Could be a new colourway for the Coda Caves quest, since we're mining crystals there. (Alternatively, two colourways - Gem/Jewel and Stone, where Stone acts as a simple colour and the plain pet artwork is coloured with a white/grey palette; Gem is where the pets have new poses and a marbled effect with veins of precious metals running through them and ridges of crystals growing at various points.)

Mountain - pets made of earth and stone, and looking like full landscapes - a line of pines along spines, heavy foliage and ferns covering an eye, a tiny waterfall falling off one shoulder, snow-capped peaks etc. So many options. Think of the Rocky Mountains.

Bronze/Patina - exactly what it says on the tin. Could be a simple colourway or a fancy one - but the bronze and turquoise highlights could look incredible.

Baroque - over the top, gilt with gold, rich colours often painted in landscapes, so many swirls etc, noble and haughty poses. Could be really fun!

Sandy/Seaside - we have Hyrdus, which is great and I love it a lot, but how about a more gentle, light vibe? Sand-coloured pets with seashells and sea glass for accents, under beach umbrellas or holding little buckets. A blob pet could even be a little sandcastle or a creature coming up out of a rock pool, for example.

Cupcake - pets decorated like desserts, with whorls of cream and fruit and sugar glaze etc!

Monet - look, I just want to see pets in the theme of Waterlilies, so they look painted and dreamy and lilies around them and willows drooping down over them.

I love these ideas! I'd absolutely love Baroque as a pet color. And I think Cupcake would be super cute, similar-ish to Sweetheart but with each pet as a unique dessert in different colors similar to how Nostalgic gives each pet a unique toy form.

I'd also love other art styles as pet colors, similar to the aforementioned Baroque idea.

Impressionism -- the above idea regarding "Monet" could be incorrporated into this as Monet was an impressionist painter. Very soft, sweet, fluid colors and designs. Swirls and textures. Natural, soft lighting. Details of life like flowers, draping willow, flowing clouds, etc.

Abstract -- I think this would be so fun and silly. Bold shapes and bright colors, shaping the pets into abstract versions of themselves

It could be cool to introduce these different art style colors in a story element related to Scribble. Maybe a character was taking art classes and discovered some new potions?

The color I'd love to see most would be something like Fairy, perhaps as two different related styles as Seelie and Unseelie so that the

Seelie colored pets could be more bright or pastel colors, glittery, fluttery fairy wings, silly, mischievious poses and expressions, etc. and Unseelie colored pets could be more jewel tones and darker colors, more of the darker side of fae with more coniving mischivous energy towards them

Fairies are so vast that I think a color or multiple colors related to the fae could be super interesting with lots of different inspo for each design.

I'd also love a color that's circus-y, with pets turning into clowns, ringleaders and such

Here's a few ideas I have:

Chibi Experiment 911 (It's my personal favorite experiment I would also like to see a Chibi 3877)

Some experiment ideas I thought of are an ice cassowary, a tv headed beetle, and a Zentu seal (Like a play on elephant seal)

Some pet colors I thought of:

A few color ideas I had for the Blob are Sweetheart, (obviously going to be a candy heart) Harvest (of course the colors that usually don't change a pet's pose would change its pose/material, so why not a pile of leaves to make it unique)

Another pet I see being Sweetheart is the Illumis. (I imagine the wings shaped like hearts) Same thing with the Zentu (With a cotton candy back)

Another color I would like to see with the Zentu is Angelic. I would like to see the halo either around its trunk, or tusks.

I also see there being a Riftborn Qrykee because I imagine the back turning into a giant mouth. Also interested in a Riftborn Zentu. Imagine what they do with the tusks and trunk.

For the Scootle, I definitely see there being a Glacier one, with the droopy antennae and all., as well as a Reborn one and a Graveyard one, based of of what happens when you put salt on a snail, and also the green banded broodsac parasite for its antennae.

Nostalgic is a personal favorite color of mine. I really like seeing these pets take inspiration from vintage/retro toys. One idea I had was the Nostagic variant of either the Terracoon or Popoko being based off of these little ball chasing weasel toys: (I'm pretty sure they're from the 90s, but I'm born in the 2000s, and I remember seeing these at Cracker Barrel. (I live in the USA) When I looked them up as a reference, some their faces made me think of the dog from the "Let me do it for you" meme)

I also thought of the Nostalgic Yaherra being a bubble machine.

I don't have a lot of color ideas, but I do imagine a Rave color (Cause of those Mascarade Experiment merch) where it's all brighter and more vibrant versions of the Common variants (Brown or grey ones, I don't know) and these pets would look like they're dancing and wearing all sorts of crazy clothing. (Guess it could be like the Disco color from Neopets. Unimportant note: I never played Neopets, but I've been playing Subeta sense November)

For species ideas, I wish there was kangaroo based pet, sense a few virtual pets games have kangaroo based species, like the Blumaroo from Neopets. I would also like another marine animal pet. Well sure the Chelon and Tutani are clearly based on marine animals, but the Torrent is more of a freshwater fish, and even though the Swampie is a plesiosaur and the Qrykee is a pliosaur, they're more of freshwater dwellers. I feel like there should be a crab pet. I used to own a hermit crab, but he died and my mom did not want me to have any more exotic pets in my house, so there better a crab pet.

I definitely agree that there should be a focus on catching up all current pets with available in all colors (Example: Yaherras are missing Storm, Steamwork, Nostalgic, Hydrus, Darkmatter, etc)

That being said, I if I could pick one pet to be available in any color I'd choose Experiment in Chibi, followed by Experiment in Chibi. (And I kinda wish Expirmrents could come in all colors, but I understand why they aren't)

(And if I could make up, from scratch, a new color for exclusively Experiments, as they are my favorites, I'd make one called "Failed", a color that is a mix of riftborn and graveyard because where it "almost worked", but didn't quite, resulting in a failed and kinda melty version of the experiment)

It's been a long time since I posted, but I would looove a music based colored pet. Like notes and symbols around. Just not sure what color scheme they would have, but it'd be soooo nice. Maybe two types cooler colored digitized ones And classical with softer colors? Idk idk what I was thinking of.
