My friend allowed me to use his connection, and the remaining portion was downloaded in a few minutes. I returned the favor my helping him with his car's oil change and some advice about a potential tune up.
The downside about the game is it's under lockdown until the general release date. To my and his nephew's dismay we'll have to wait a week to play. I promised the lad first shot at this game.
What a way to build anticipation! Able to download it, but not play....argh! o.O
It'll be one of my splurges with this system. Overall, my Switch is the last gaming system I buy. I can allow some embellishments.
The first assignments should be easy, but I may have to wait a few days to begin. My current connection is tapped out, and the arrangements for an upgrade are until Wednesday.
Mine still debating about buying physical copies or online access for the course material. I could resell books, but online access is less expensive.
[Edit]Ooh! Them doorgknobs caught my eye, especially it's the only one that allows sinister entrance...
That week of waiting to play would be so difficult for me! Of course, it would make that initial play date super fun too, so waiting wouldn't be so terrible. hehehe
I do love those new doorknobs! Love that they made a Southpaw version!
At 5k points it should take a few months to get one. A great item for a rejection HA.
Yeah, 5K each.....yikes! I got three of them....thought I had four, but had accidentally bought two of one. lol oops!
Oddly I saw physical copies of Legends Arecus today, I thought this wouldn't be available until the 28th.
:O WOW! I wonder why the early release? Good for players tho! 😁
IDK, mine copy is still unplayable. I can check out the information tomorrow after I get an upgrade on my connection. But also after I come I come from dropping my car for bodywork.
I'll just take this in stride, mine decided on changing to digital copies of my games. Enough with swapping game cards and it's bulk.
Oh man! I really wonder if those copies in stores, are playable now. That is so odd that they would sell them, but not allow them to be played. Do you know what the reason is for that? I mean, why would they sell them, but not allow players to access them? Does that make them more money in the long run? I have never heard of that. But I suppose it similar in buying tickets for a movie, or sport, or concert. [edit] You get your loaner car tomorrow then! I wonder what it will be. :O
I think I answered you... Memory is not the same as it never was... ;) Yes, I am still trying for the oofah achievement. 3 more bugs to go.
I love your door HA. I am so far from 5000 blue points...
Still home. I am surprised at myself for not being here more. I ever activated a gold week medal. Tired I guess
How are you doing these days?
Yes it's nice, and courtesy of a friend. Saved me the trouble of two months of BB quests.
I'm currently supervising the installation of a new internet and communication service. After today I shouldn't have much problems with usage.
I'm glad the techs came early, mine will need to begin getting ready for the trip to drop off my car. Best I make something to eat, I won't be able to stop anywhere.
I'm ok, Thank You =) How are you doing? Hugs

Oh he passed away?
Mine waiting at the collision shop for a rental car, then straight home. I'll need to ask for some extra money to buy the online access this week, it'll be tight for the week. Hopefully the steps I took the last weeks can alleviate the load.
[Edit]And the rental was a no-go, I can't afford the deposit which is an out of pocket cost. Mine will take a bus home, and maybe ask for a ride if my sister can come.
yep,My Friend He did Jan 20, 2022 =( Sorry, you couldn't get a rental, I hope your sister can help you out with your ride home.Abrazos

If it's necessary, I may not arrive to reach the rural transport that can take me home.
It means that I'll be forced to use my truck or another vehicle to class. Perhaps this can be beneficial, it can be a good opportunity to work out the problems it has with the engine.
[Edit] I know that I have a lot of catching up the next few days. Mine average is high only because mine haven't done any assignments.
I hope everything worked out for you, so you could get home without any problems & it's an easy engine fix for your truck when you take it to school to figure out that problem. My Friend Abrazos =)

Sorry haven't been around. Covid came to visit and decided to stay awhile. Three grandkids and one daughter had it. My daughter finally went back to work Tuesday and the kids go back to school on Friday. Thank God for vaccinations... no hospitalizations.
I'm trying to wade through all of my notifications. and get to my tree to see what goodies are under there. It's late though so probably will try again tomorrow? Hopefully. Hope all are healthy and happy in this new year!
Life is short... Count your Blessings, Love your family and friends and lend a helping hand whenever you can!

I still have a few days to decide what to about transport. Until then I want to stay on schedule with my assignments, so that I can make time to try selling my old books online.
This new connection is helpful, at least with my homework. I haven't taken much time to play online yet. But I look forward to playing against live opponents, enough with mowing down the AI.
Now when the time comes to pick up my car I will have to make arrangements, mine unsure if taking a bus would be my first choice. Getting back isn't the problem, just the timing to leave.
my laptop is from mid 2009. sadly, that is old these days. I can't update it anymore. one of the things I seem to be dealing with all the time, besides my left shift button not working, is the forums won't open for me! so if someone posts to me, I can look up their recent posts and see what they wrote (usually) but it's a headache and I am easily distracted along the way. some day I will have this worked out, but for the time being, sorry I am not commenting much. I miss too much to catch up. I can post, as you see, but it's sort of playing blind man's bluff.
I hope all are well! Hubby and I recovered from corona, he went back to work, I will start back next week. I sure liked being off work. :D
have a great weekend!
