I wish someone had told me that life (at least for me) would feel much happier and more fulfilling after I became an adult and had the freedom to make the choices I wanted to make. I wish I had felt more hopeful about he future!

If you have the aptitude set aside money to find your own way of running a business. I'm an independent contractor now. The first year I starved... I mean I only made 5k the entire year... now? Well let's say that I've got a house and a couple vehicles. Not rich. Just comfortable.

Going your own way, and being in charge of your income and not letting anyone else be in charge of telling you how much money you should make, that's all very important.

Social services exist and you should use them, even if you think you're not desperate enough. I was encouraged to get on food stamps for my AmeriCorps term, even though I didn't think of myself as poor. It helped, with how little they paid me u___u

Maybe how lonely it can be at times? I am a very introverted person, but there are times I miss being a kid and surrounded by friends.
