My parents have an air fryer, and use it all the time. I wish I could think of something make in it that makes sense that&;s gluten free.

we tend to use it as an alternate to an oven (depending on the food, ofc). Cheesesticks, fries, taquitos, fresh vegetables...all sorts of things!

I would say garlic press for sure. I use mine so much that it actually broke a few days ago (the handle snapped in half and became useless without the leverage), and living without it is driving me nuts. I'm also the kind of person who doesn't really like the jarred garlic so that doesn't help either lol.

My air fryer died like 2 months ago and boy howdy do I miss it. My partner and I have been thinking of making a new one our gift to each other this holiday season, but we can't decide if we want one that doubles as an instant pot or any other more fancier type than our regular one we had prior.

Rice cooker, vegetable dryer, coffee maker, toaster, blender, immersion blender.

I can no longer remember what it was like cooking rice in a pot, and I will never go back if I can help it. The vegetable dryer has been very useful, we gather a lot of mushrooms during the warmer months and now we have several resealable bags of funnel chanterelles and black trumpet mushrooms for winter. Coffee maker is self-explanatory, I drink a lot of coffee. Toaster is useful, I like toasting every kind of bread I can get to fit in it. Bagels, toast, slices of different kinds of bread. I even managed to heat up a lörtsy, a specific Finnish kind of meat pastry. Both blender and immersion blender see a lot of use periodically, I especially love to make hot vegetable soups.

We also have a freezer chest, its not exactly a gadget I guess, but it has been vital. It's full of mushrooms that aren't the best when dried, meats and breads from sales and all sorts of frozen veggies and berries. : )

Can't sleep, pendulums will get me.

Kitchen aid mixer, because I do a lot of baking. Jar opener, because I wouldn't be able to open anything without it.

I'd say Rice Cooker and a Kettle. I like to drink a lot of tea and kettles are great for instant coffee lol.

Drying your veggies out sounds really handy! I wish I had room for a freezer chest! I'm stuck with a tiny normal freezer. :(

I couldn't live without my slow cooker, especially when we have people visiting and want to go out and do things! Also love our Magic Bullet mini blender for making smoothies. Just bought a stand mixer and I think I am going to love it!

I have this small George Foreman grill that's got enough space for a steak or two burgers. Really I don't need the big grill since it's just me and my wife.

A 7 QT slow cooker with a removable inside. A pot roast with veggies day 1, then add rice and eat on it for 4 more days. We just put the removable inside in the fridge and go from there.

I like to have very little on my counters. I am a little OC about it. I want to have space when I need it to cook/work. I also hate having cords stretched along every where. Lol One thing that has earned a place on my coveted counter is an electric can opener, but its not just any ol' can opener. You can take the opener part off and make it portable. So i just have to have the cord stretched out long enough to charge it one a month.

OOOH! I really like this topic :D <3 We got a rice cooker a bit over a year ago, and man it's well worth the money. :D I can even steam vegetables if i want to, and the booklet also says I can cook more stuff, but I didn't try that yet.

I also am really grateful for the knife sharpener i got from my future MIL. I also really like the vertical blender for perfect mayonnaise, smoothies, and more. ;)

To a lesser degree, because I don't bake as much anymore, measuring cups, and kitchen scales.

I really have to update my blog ObscureJourney and my review site BeingObscure. French speakers can read my reviews here.

Air fryer, rice cooker, and my most used thing hands down is the water boiler. Keeps your water hot so you never have to wait for it to boil for teas and things! Also great to cut down time when making soups.

Electric tea kettle and a good blender. Electric tea kettles are just so much faster for boiling water. And I use my blender almost every day for smoothies after the gym.

uuugghhhh.., I need an immersion blender so bad lol...

I have a ninja crock pot that has a stovetop setting... so when I got to make roasts or chili or anything that needs the meat to be carmelized/seared beforehand I can do it right in the same pot.... my stews and roasts and such have so much more flavor and juice because I don't have to transfer it. Seriously the chili though... I can sauté my onions in my garlic chili oil, then add my beed and chorizo and brown it all up good before I add my beans. The flavors LIVE in there.

The other thing I would say is that little garlic peeler thing that is just like a silcone tube. So nice.

Others have said toaster oven, and I 100% agree. My family uses it more than the normal one, and we use them both at the same time for different cooking temps.

People swear by their air fryers but I’ve yet to use one.

I personally have always wanted a good ice cream maker. It’s not a necessity but who doesn’t love ice cream?
