and I mean I do have a dA, the issue is, you can't format it like I thought to format it on my petpages, where I have multiple different elements working, like it's a whole project thing, where I was planning to eventually draw 2 - 3 pictures per chapter, like the neopedia stories, also there was some HTML fun stuff, like I've got this upside down white text that pops up every so often that's from a hidden character, and this little computer prompt thing for my robot aisha's story, or different font styles for certain characters, and even one the stories was hidden in a second petpage, with a different design and even a background that was meant to make you feel like you were being watched, and it all does not translate well to platforms like AO3 or dA (also idk about AO3 but dA has a 5k word limit per entry and like for example the chapter I'm working on is at 30k projected to reach 50k so IDK how it'd work)

Not being able to dress my pets did take a little bit to get used to. The different poses each pet has though can stir the imagination to give each one a back story. A few of mine have a story. The offside of not being able to dress the pets means you can spend a lot of time thinking of what to put into their treasure chests. ^__^

yeah so dA will allow you to post multiple media but not like, mixed, so you can't have text with an image for example. And thanks haha I mean it's just that I thought it'd be cool to have fun with the HTML and CSS I know, and the art skills that I have. And yeah that page with the eyes animation was for that, originally l wanted to have one pair of eyes show up in the middle of the screen, but Neo also has a bunch of CSS properties blocked on their site so I couldn't do it and had to settle for the repeating eyes.

And I mean yeah I guess the only way would be to get a website... but IDK how viable that would be, and once again, Neopets is very niche
