The neo userbase is also quite old now lol, I’m 26 and most of us here are in our 20s too, but the neopets staff still insists on treating and punishing us as children :’) the final straw for most people is that they’re now trying to turn the site into some dystopian NFT farming thing which is… ugh. Thanks so much though, thankfully my deviantart was mostly cleared out years ago but that link was an unexpected relic of the past lol! I used to play this site sooo much in 08-09, I honestly thought I played it for longer than that but all my last posts are from 09 so maybe not. I am still quite sad that most of my pet names have been taken away though, RIP Evelyn, Mothy, Raindance and Kalypso :( I wonder if any of my items are valuable now though hmm

yeah I don’t recall how it works exactly but I think if you haven’t logged in for like 1-2 years other people can claim your names. It seems like the name system might have changed though in some way to allow multiples of the same name? idk

your new outfit is amazing. The naming system did change awhile back, you can now change your username every so often and pet names are no longer unique. Older pets created before the change still have their OG "Legacy Names", but can be converted if you want to remove numbers and such.

I'd recommend checking out Personal >Dashboard to see if you have any loyalty boxes available! (:
