OK so I always wondered how exactly so many versions of Blake existed. Until one day I found myself looking for a pet I sent into the rift. Real blasphemy if I do say so. After being exposed to light that was way to bright I found myself in what looked like a video game city. At first I walked up to a gentleman wearing a long sleeve white shirt with the sleeves rolled up, he wore a hat of leaves and once he turned around I could see his face was painted for camo. I questioned him about my pet and he directed me to another gentleman with the same appearance. When I spoke to him as he sprayed the bush before him, I noticed he seemed to be dressed an awful lot like the other guy I just spoke with. This guy again directed me to another person.

I kid you not this happened another 3 times before I truly noticed it was the same guy every time with his hand up waving to me and his corny almost fake smile. This last one directed me to a store down a cobble street, hesitant I stood at the door thinking what might wait on the other side. Laughing to myself I determined I was probably going to see that guy once again. Hopefully I gave him enough time to change. Was it really just one guy? Nah that can't be right. When I entered the store, this man turned around and based on his clothes I'd say he was one of them, that same person. I can't really tell or remember because he had a gas mask on and the next thing I know I'm waking in my house with my pe- OH DEAR GOD WHAT HAPPENED TO MY PET.

I struggled to rummage through my inventory while looking in horror at the Lovecraftian abomination my beloved pet had become. It felt like forever as I went from item to item trying to find it, why do I keep so many items in my inventory anyway?! Finally, I found the nuclear potion hiding behind a craved pumpkin and an infinity berry. I dashed behind my couch as quickly as I could barely avoiding what looked like a tentacle covered in eyes. Having little time and even less strength to fight I had to act fast. I removed the lid from the potion using my shirt to cover my mouth and protect myself from the toxic fumes and I threw the bottle over the couch onto my pet.

Templar became COVERED in ooze, I could hear the monster scream and testify against the liquid as it burned away rifted flesh replacing it with feathers. Eventually after a disgusting transformation, Templar had returned back to his form prior to entering the rift. Giving him the space and time to recover I hadn't discussed with him my experience within the rift.

Eventually I put Templar back into the field and got him to fight opponents for me. I will say, there is some concern as to the reaction he has when battling against Blake. Templar chooses not to speak at all when we battle Blake and he refuses to listen to my instructions. He becomes somewhat unhinged and almost dangerous and attacks of his own choice.

I can't say for sure what happened during his time in the rift but I know what I remember and for that reason I believe I may never send another pet through.
