I personally wasn't motivated to join because of the Neopets NFT thing BUT I had spent 15-16 years playing Neopets, at one point in time. Especially now because of the debacle, I cannot see myself rejoining Neopets ever! It's just so far gone but this website captures the magic that place had back in the early 2000s for sure. (:

I'd wanted to join Neopets as a child but couldn't due to some computer issues when I tried to sign up. Can't really recall what they were, but man it was upsetting.

I finally joined around the time I entered college. It was a dream come true for me. I'm tempted to still play because I managed to get two pretty rare pets.
