Box stock is limited: 40 total of the godly box and 125 total of the fanciful box will go out. They will restock over time until that limit is reached.

Purchase limit per person: one godly box per day, two fanciful boxes per day.

If the news post wasn't clear, the Fanciful Box will be available as battling prizes in the future. We're not going to cut off the supply of the demi-godlies like that.

As for why this method. It's either let the top 1% of battlers who already own the best weapons, get more of them via battling. Or open it up to a larger audience, while getting some godlies into circulation.

Some of the godlies got some minor improvements, too. The curses, especially, were lackluster.

They're both chance boxes.

And no, those two are staying as they are. We don't like to increase prices. This box is for people who really wanted to get their hands on the OG godlies + sandreaver and who found the price was becoming unreasonable. There's no real need for anyone to buy this box; there are plenty of great weapons people can use.

You do have a point about the resale value! We just upped the icons on the godlies from 34-42 to 40-46 to make them a little more valuable without being OP. People can still do just fine battling with the cheaper godlies and other weapons, but the old ones deserve a little boost, especially now that more are entering the economy and they'll be easier to get hold of.

If/when there's another opponent reset, it's something we will consider! But won't make any promises.

We've always done some serious tinkering with loot and achievements when we do resets. Can't see why the next time would be any different! (No, this is not me saying one is coming soon. We will give you advanced warning if it happens)
