Our subscription to the service we used to display the server status expired a few days ago (sorry!) and so we had the choice to renew that, or create something that could serve our purpose a little better.
Let me welcome to the stage the new status page (link updated in the footer) that has the services on the site, plus our recent incidents and (hopefully) their resolutions.
This is built on notion, a task management / document management service where we already log all of these details internally for the programmers / support team so we aren't replicating data across multiple platforms and more people will have access to keep the page up to date.
And a special experiment, I'm going to try running a public change log (also linked in the footer!) with the changes that we make to the site and a little more depth behind them. The reason that these aren't on the forums is that it's just much easier to manage this in Notion (where we already have our release and ticket information) and is much more likely to get updated.
I'll also be cross posting some of the updates between the change log and site update!
