He may feel overwhelmed with the thought his responsible for doing repairs, yard work and more. It helps if you keep a list, and check them off as you go and not everything can be done at one time. But it gives you a reminder and idea, what needs to be taken care. I bet once he saw improve from your Dad's work, it made him feel better to see change, it is a challenge to take care of a house and yard. When we first got our house, the boys were younger they went outside in the backyard and played while i did yard work. Now its just me, and my middle son plus the dog.

My middle son was a few months old when the Berlin wall went down, I never went to Berlin. So cool you got to see the wall before and after it came down. That was when we were living in Kitzingen just outside of Wurzburg. I miss all the wonderful yarn for knitting and crocheting from Germany.

A wonderful surprise arrived and the post office today, from my BBF It is a stick on LED light strip that I have just finished sticking on my desk above the computer. It does all sorts of different colors and effects. I love it.

Sounds so pretty, and brings so beautiful colors and highlights around your computer and your room.

need to wait to meet him tomorrow evening..before i can even think of naming him. we went to the pet shops and then Home Goods a really neat house and home store with everything beautiful in it and it has 2 rows just for pets..there i got his large bone shaped mat that says hungry and thirsty where you put my NEW pretty bowls for him. then we bought the treats and specific food and a training clicker really nice one too. and a new cushy bed and tOYS. it was sooo much fun. i get to decoater for him tomorrow as he wont be here till later. yup it is already fun. i had to make sure no underbed spaces were left so i bought these cardboard things to sit under bed ..baby proof the house basically :)

My dog has way to many toys, but he doesnt shred them, and just loves carrying them around.

I do a list so I dont forget, and I feel good when I see the list shrink. Like mowing the lawn, is nice because it actually looks good for 5-7 days, not like cleaning in the house. Leave a room and come back, someone has made a mess.

Now I will tell you what Joey gets. I still feed him 3 times a day altho he is 12 months but that is my choice. He is a bloody guts so 3 meals a day keep him happy. Daily allowance divided by 3.

Joey is 11 kilos or 24 pound has for breakfast either 1 fried, poached or scrambled [no milk] egg, or a 95 gram of salmon [tried him with tuna and sardines ... will eat them but not readily.
For lunch 2 dessertspoons of either chicken breast or round steak that I have minced in my food processor and frozen, then defrosted as needed, as well as 3 dessertspoons of raw vegetables. Carrot, zucchini, peas with shell, beans, sweet potato, pumpkin, broccoli and cauliflower. That I again mince until fine in my blender and place in an air proof container in the fridge ... lasts about a week. Dinner I am lazy and he gets 1/2 a cup of low fat, no grain dry food.

Treats and training rewards are strawberries, rockmelon, watermelon, pineapple, blueberries ... all of which need it I cut into bite size pieces and store in the fridge. Not all at once but 1 type each week or when you run out. They can also be frozen for really hot days, or blended and put into ice cubes for those days. Or he loves dried apples, tried him with apricots and peaches but apples win hands down as long as they are soft.

And a cored whole apple is great for his teeth, breath and as a toy.

He eats better than I do.

that is such a great idea and i will implement it now that my spare time will be down to almost zero cause i bet when the lil noy pup goes down for a nap i will be ready for ine myself hahaha. wow you really DO put alot into the food. several times in Nuscuits life i mad him chicken rice and a veggie mixed together but mostly he got the small gormet foods and kibbles. This new pup is already on a puppy mix and i will keep that up...i have the lil toothbruxhing kit i will get him used to . Biscuit never had any teeth issues but i just want to be sure to avoid issues with this lil guy. He comestonight and i cant wait..well i can acrually.

List helps me especially grocery shopping, because I add to it as I need the items. Otherwise, I will forget Because I have. a list helps when I am real busy getting ready to travel.

Yes it has been a while, indeed. Things have been, eh, not the best, but not the worst. Lots of frustration and anxiety over aforementioned partner's SSI/Disability benefit issues being denied renewal despite the need for in home care services. We've already filed an appeal of course, but it's ridiculous. Hopefully things are going better on your end of things~ <3
