Thanks so much for the info and links! And for the reminder of the BQs- I was doing them a while ago but then was away for a bit and didn’t really think about them so I didn’t start them up again! I just did them and stalled at level 27 whereas before I couldn’t get past level 25! That’s great and it earned me over 18K in EXP points so bonus! I will go read Jess’ opponent guide especially for the ones that keep beating me down in the higher levels of BQs. My weapon set is okay for the level I’m at now but I may need to updraft one I climb a few more. I’ll check out that link as well.

Yeah…. I like getting the Oracle quests- I just wish level wasn’t one of her ‘gifts’ lol… I noticed I have quite a few mage amulets and Shinwa potions squirrelled away. I went to the mage and gave him a few but he wasn’t very generous with tomes. Any trick to that? More than 5 at a go seemed a waste.

No problem! And getting to level 27 is pretty good! Any amount of EXP you can get from that is great, and will help you increase your stats faster along with using the training center if you're still doing that.

As for the mage amulets, I usually just save them up in my vault and then turn them in a bunch at a time, like when I have 50-100 or so. I think there's usually about a 1/6 or 1/7 chance of getting a tome, so they are kind of rare. But doing it in bulk and then using whatever tomes you do get can be a nice boost.

The last time I did her quest she gave Talon 6 levels (if I remember correctly). Totally useless :( I always just sell the amulets and then hope to catch a few tomes at decent prices. I never had much luck with him.

I have a bunch of amulets in my vault. Last time I tried turning in several of them I didn't get any tomes at all so gave up. Once in a while I will put some in my shop.

woahh congrats!!! I set out my second battle pet on all the opponents and finished up to 10x on Brunhilde - second pet is tier 9 almost 10. It's a pretty big jump to Rita's stats though.

Did you use a guide for Jacques? I don't think I have the right weapons for him yet.

Honestly I'm tier 13 and still know nothing XD Thankfully Laurey's post was a lot more helpful. I just trained all stats pretty evenly until I reached tier 13, then I searched around to see what other people's final build goals are, and try to model my own pet after them.

I didn't use like a step-by-step guide or anything, but I noticed he does a lot of wind and water damage, so I mainly used my Blessed Trident and Manifesting Weapon and then a bunch of freezing scrolls and hoped for the best lol.

I think if you have anything that blocks earth or dark icons, or something that blocks a bit of a range of stuff like Paintbrush Blades or Malerias Cursed Arm Bangle you could maybe try that with the Trident. I have some more freezing scrolls you could borrow too if you want to give it a go, he is still a difficult opponent though, I struggled a bit to get to my 7th win which is why I'll probably just leave it at that for this year.

Hey and Hi everyone!! I can't believe it is almost October already! That is crazy 0_0 I am going to try to come up with a few fun things for the month.

I can't believe it either. I was talking to my 13 yr old about Halloween costumes. He is pretty sure he wants to be Marty McFly from the Back to the Future trilogy. It looks like Party City may have a costume in stock, if they don't or if he doesn't like it, I am going to just get him clothes from a combination other stores around us (Wal Mart, Target, and Kohl's). I think the only problem I will have is the vest and getting the shoes just right.

Looking forward to morostide but it starts mid October now. I could have sworn it used to start on Oct 1st in the past. Hope they have some great new wearables and a new minion for the patch. Except I have bad luck in the patch, I usually get a lot of cheap stuff I already have. Took forever I think last year to get whatever the new minion was. Almost didn't get him. Everybody busy battling?

Yeah I thought so too! I really wish it did. I would enjoy it all month! Same! I kinda wish they would retire the really old stuff. Like items that were released the first or second year. At least the really cheap items that can be bought in shops. Finished battling. Now I am just getting a handful of exp points so I quit.

Did the pirate shop break Subeta? Went to eat dinner & when I returned the site was crashing. When it came back there was a ton of stuff in the shop, but of course nothing I wanted. Strange.

Edit: Site went down briefly a few more times and I have seen a lot of items in the shop a couple times also. But unfortunately it's a lot of cheap stuff, no books or sails, nothing good. Maybe they're trying to fix the stupid shop issue.

Morning edit: Seems to be a few more items in the shop at the restock than usual but none of the good stuff. Was able to grab something but haven't seen a single book or sail or any of the items on my WL. Maybe they're restocking more but it would be nice to get a few items off my WL. Oh hey just caught another RS and there were more items that time also. I think they must be trying to stock more. But I'll be gone all day so hope there's more stuff when I get back tonight. I pretty much gave up on the pirate shop. Not sure there is anything left that I want. Glad the site seems to be working alright now. Hopefully it will stay that way,

I've just been grabbing anything I can. I get a WL item about half the time. I have the best luck getting something early in the morning ( like between 7-8am) and then off and on in the early afternoon. It's definitely not a lot of stuff, but I have snagged maybe 2 dozen items since the shop opened.

I'm not in the shop a lot, usually just when I'm in between doing other stuff. I begin refreshing at the 5 minute mark & start clicking the second items appear. But I rarely see any books at all and no sails. And all the good stuff is gone with my 1st click. Today is the last day and I still have a bunch of stuff on my WL because they never appear. Sure wish they would fix this. The "holiday" is no fun or enjoyable at all when it's completely frustrating. Looking forward to morostide. Just went in to my WL and bought some of the lower priced items but still several on the WL. Prices will probably start going up tomorrow when the shop closes.

I think I got all of the WL items I really wanted. I just need to double check the stickers.

I'm just surprised that they didn't post a reminder in the news. They usually tell people when an event or shop is about to end, in a news post.

"Oh No! This shop is closed" Good. Now on to the next holiday. :)

Well I got most of what I needed from the pirate shop, so I'll just try to get the rest next year. Looking forward to Morostide now! :D

mentioned in a news comment somewhere that they haven't forgot, but I guess some stuff came up and they weren't able to get them out before the end of the month.

I think I saw some people mentioning in the battle chat that they have uploaded the images to the battle challenger IDs now in the coliseum, so maybe they will be released either today or tomorrow or something.
