okay what about something related to generational/independently wealthy/inherited all my money? requires very low levels/strength/intelligence, but has a really long wait time between levels and takes a while (years) before it pays out well

I don't have a suggestion myself, but I would love Hustler and Jaxon jobs (as suggested already)!

It would be really neat to have job charts! I can imagine my pet in a quarterly review at their minimum wage job, being handed a badly-printed copy of the “career paths” and hearing a speech about how if they reach 5 years at the company they get a pin for their hat XD ..yes, that was autobiographical.

I don't mind there being achievements or prizes tied to reaching the top position in a job, but would really appreciate it if they're retroactive. Several of my pets are already at the top position in their job, and I'd be kind of pissed if I had to start over.

Entomologist! The different tiers could be related to the study of different types of insects? There's a lot of valuable bugs beyond just bees that I would love to see represented in some small way!

A babysitting/nanny job would also be great.

From the first post, Music, Space, Conservationist/ Naturalist, Photography, and Acting/Theater are all ones I'd put my pets into immediately!

I would like to point out on the Hospital grouping that a pediatrician is a type of doctor and should not be a promotion from doctor (I also don't think it needs to be a separate category from doctor at all unless you wanted to start going into all the other specialties doctors can go into which would just be a LOT)

How about a job working on all the Vending machines? repair, restocking, choosing what they stock, placement, etc.

As far as the raise goes my first thought was yes! But after looking at the spreadsheet that shows how much each position makes I’m ok with things staying close to the same as they are now. If it were still the days of the 10 pet per player limit a raise would be awesome. Now that we can have 50 or more pets. With 26 employed pets I make almost 60k each day and 10 of them make 1k or less. I just want to be cautious of how the raises may effect the economy. It does take a lot of work and training to get to some of these positions, not to mention hunting for books to raise our pets intelligence. Maybe whatever raise we see could take into account how much all that training costs and buffered that cost as you level your pet for their next raise with their current employer. Even with that idea though I hope someone does some math to get an idea of how it may effect the economy. Especially if people are actually actively picking up their paycheck.

Reading through everyone else’s ideas has me excited about things other than a raise that could provide more motivation for our pets to be employed. Achievements would be amazing and maybe where it makes sense this could be a way to bring back rewards from achievements that have been retired for various reasons. Having achievements for the top position would be nice and maybe there could be some that weren’t tied to a specific job but employment in general like one for getting your first job or earning a raise. mentioned having a button to pick up everyone's paycheck at once and this would be very helpful. Though I’m intentionally not picking up two of my pets paychecks ever because I don’t want their stats to go up.

Not sure how many other people would want this one, but I'd love to see Taxidermist as a job! Start out as an assistant, then apprentice, and so on until you reach Master Taxidermist or something.

I would LOVE to be able to collect all pet income at once. (116 pets and counting.)

The holiday helpers theme is very interesting. I can envision Morostide employment including pumpkin growing, ghost hunting, and gravedigging. For Fireside I can see that going with a carnival atmosphere, knife swallowing, flame juggling, and fire walking for starters. Lumi could be snow fort builder, ice sculptor, gift wrapper, and cookie baker.

It would be cool to see a job where you move up in a cult of some kind - something like Initiate, Devoted Follower, Sect Leader, Inner Circle, Cult Leader.

I definitely support more job-related achievements too! Achievements are one of the driving features of the site for me. Better rewards would be nice, and maybe streak rewards for collecting every day? I make a few hundred thousand sP from jobs every day, but I definitely recognize how long it took me to get to this point.

I also think it would be fun (though certainly more work on the dev side) to tie jobs in to other site features, ex:

• "temp" jobs during events like Morostide or Vesnali
• jobs that require you to have accomplished something else, like having a large plushie collection so that your pet really knows their stuff for a plushie-related job, or reading a specific series of books in order to advance
• jobs that give "bonuses", like more lenient timeframes for watering your plants or bonding with a minion
• jobs that give bonuses in the way of items? Ex. a chance of getting a random item that restocks in the shop that your pet is working at, or a holiday item

I have a wolf character that has a love for all things snow/christmas based. I would love something for that like maybe working at the Avalanch Emporium or even helping Melody out!
