so i'm curious about the threads that pop up that occasionally, that never seem to load no matter how many times you refresh, close and reopen, or come back at a later date. the thread in question that i'm looking at is the last page of this thread which refuses to open. i'm curious if this is just a me problem or if it seems to be universal, as i'd like to reply to this thread but i'm wondering if it just needs a new thread made. again though, not sure if this is a me specific problem though. so, is this thread showing up for you?

It's not just you. Every single page from 1 to 29 loads within a second or two, 30 almost always fails to load, and 31-32 completely fail to load. I'm too new to know if this is a typical issue, nor do I know if it has any relation to the user's setup, but I ran some tests on the browsers. Private Browsing was used to quickly turn off extensions, and all tests were run on Windows 10 Pro (64-bit):

Google Chrome Normal setup, Version 90.0.4430.212 (Official Build) (64-bit) — no loading past page 29 Private Browsing, Version 90.0.4430.212 (Official Build) (64-bit) — no loading past page 29

Pale Moon Normal setup, 29.6.0 (64-bit) — no loading past page 29 Private Browsing, 29.6.0 (64-bit) — no loading past page 29

Microsoft Edge Normal setup (no addons or extensions, though), Version 91.0.864.37 (Official build) (64-bit) — no loading past page 30 Private Browsing, Version 91.0.864.37 (Official build) (64-bit) — no loading past page 29

Conclusion: From a quick look, the problem appears to be user-agnostic. The only browser to successfully load page 30 once formal testing began was Edge, and I chalk that up to luck.

The last two pages won't load for me either, page 30 seems to load sometimes if I leave it for a bit. Not sure what would be causing it, but there have been some general problems with loading forum threads lately. But I haven't seen any other threads that will never load, they tend to work when I try a few hours/days later.

However, the last post is from march 2020, so this thread would need to be remade regardless since posting on it would be necroing (the thread is on page 4 of the Pets forum).

Gotcha! I just didn't want to get in trouble for remaking a common-use thread that wasn't locked I guess? Didn't know if it made a difference if it was one of those game threads. I'll just go ahead and remake it haha, thank you!

For me, no threads seem to load at the moment. This has been happening for maybe 2-3 days. I use firefox. I have no idea if this post will even go through. T _ T

Page 30 of the thread OP linked appears to be loading more often (still mostly failing, and success could be luck) whereas 31 and 32 continue to fail.

Page 30 is loading, the other two unfortunately do not.

I updated my firefox recently too but no effect. I think other threads are better? I had issues with other threads which I was able to see so I think there are general improvements.

I have a thread (Custom Wearable Tributes IV) that can't load the first page on Edge, Chrome, or Firefox for me when it used to load just fine?
