still battling some lingering stuff, headed to ent doc tomorrow and just get it nipped. I'm tired of running out of energy and sinus congestion. Weather brought it in for sure and I took precaution and failed, lol.
yeah, on a laptop/computer. I don't think the app version allows you to see what they're listening too or when they last listened to anything.
I hope so too. This weather seems to have been effecting everyone lately.
had to get tested for covid and a chest xray. Xray fine but the test came back positive... Granted from my understanding I could have particles of it and not even actually have covid. :/ Seriously not digging the testing method for this reason...
That sucks. Hopefully everything will go away soon. If there was a better was of testing, they would be doing it. I guess everyone has covid at some level or the other according to them.
yeah, pretty much. They can see it if you do have it in Xrays though. Levi has pneumonia and they checked his twice over and not a trace of covid in his lungs. So it's definitely wild. Hopefully they'll find a new way to identify and properly treat cause that can lead to issues and stress for some.
That makes sense. I mostly use the app on my phone or iPad. I’m rarely using it on computer since I don’t turn on my computer much. XD
Wait…they X-ray your lungs to check for COVID? They don’t do that here. If you test positive you are positive and have to quarantine. And you have to quarantine during the period you get tested and you get your results back.
I’ve been tested twice. First time was day my mom got her test back positive. It was negative. But I got tested again because I started not feeling well the same day I got my negative result back. That one came back positive. I only had to quarantine for 10 days because I didn’t have a fever on that 10th day. I actually hadn’t had a fever for 3 days. After 10 days you have to be fever free for 24 hours without the aid of a fever reducer.
that's what they did, doctors order (ENT) plus with my ex having to go to the ER for his pneumonia they checked his again. They can see if you have it in your lungs, I knew about that last year (the covid x-rays are actually pretty gross looking). I'll be honest, I don't think they do it on the regular. Just due to the fact the ENT ordered x-rays for both of us (mine was clear, he just ordered it for safety I guess cause breathing wasn't an issue for me but it has been in the past prior to covid).
Our tests say positive but they didn't tell us anything about quarantine or anything specific. To be honest, neither one of us feel like being around anyone so it's not really a big deal to stay inside. Didn't know anything about the fever time span, interesting. Though, neither of us have had a fever in days now, maybe longer.
That makes sense. They may do it here if you’re hospitalized or end up at the ER. But otherwise they just tell you take over the counter stuff for symptoms and go to ER if you start having problems breathing. Or if O2 levels get too low if you’re able to check them or if fever gets too high. Mine typically stayed low to middle 90%s. But would also drop to upper 80%s which not sick it can drop that low when I sleep.
I have been told by my new employee who’s from Texas that if you test positive or have been around someone positive you are required by law to quarantine for the full 14 days including everyone in the same household. She’s from Austin so I don’t know if it’s state as whole or just Austin. But it’s why the hospital her mom ended up at from falling on Thursday put her on a medical plane to a hospital over here since no one in her family could take her in because her sister and brother-in-law were around positive students and are required to quarantine for 2 weeks and people in the family and friends are pooping up positive from going to a funeral. So her mom has to stay with her and her husband and take her to PT and dialysis twice a week.
