My fiance has never seen The Grand Budapest Hotel, so I watched it again with him. :) He absolutely loved it!

I saw Thunderbolts last week. I don't normally go for Marvel, but it was fun.
Sinners was absolutely, positively BREATHTAKING, the Scene in the juke joint in particular (you know the one if you've seen the movie) had my jaw on the FLOOR!!! FANTASTIC movie, can't wait to snag it on bluray when it comes out 👀
banner by Went with a friend to see the live action of Lilo and Stitch. Was pretty awed by the visuals and references but it's not as good as the original. The movie went a different direction as Jumba became the antagonist, there was no Captain Gantu, and Lilo gets given up to a foster family in the end.
It was okay as entertainment for kids but the animated original is better.

See, that's why I can't even bring myself to give it a try. I really haven't cared for the live remakes. :-|
As for my household, well, the kids have been watching Sonic 3 like once a day.
center watched kpop demon hunters! :)[/center]

🍯 currently: learning to be kind to myself 🌿
The new Jurassic World. It's definitely delving further into sci fi at this point, with all the experiment dinos, but actual dinos still make up most of the plot.
It was good. Definitely can't call it bad. Actually kinda liked the characters. And, of course, the dinosaurs were cool.
... Especially the little cute one they clearly made to sell merch of. Ngl I'd buy a plushie of that little dude.
That was my last one too! I loved the OG Jurassic Park as a kid so will watch any new ones that get released if I can get to them in cinemas in time. I love that the series is formulaic (like James Bond) cos that's a bit of the comfort element for me I think. I get what you mean about the little backpack guy, he was so cute haha. The D-rex was pretty sick too, great new dino and genuinely so terrifying!
My Neighbor Totoro. I decided it was time to introduce my granddaughter to Studio Ghibli!
Sweeney Todd
If you can see this, I've temporarily stopped lurking uwu
watched mother! the other day as a second attempt because I couldn't handle it the first time I tried a few years ago ;-; still a hard watch
Rewatched Shin Godzilla in theaters. It's still as good as I remember.
The last movie I watched was The Conjuring. It's a good thriller/horror movie.
KPop Demon Hunters. It was fun .
A 50th anniversary theatrical screening of Jaws, my first time seeing the entirety of the film. And it holds up amazingly well! And to think Spielberg thought he'd never make another film after it because of all the production difficulties.
