I've noticed some of the hikei plushies are innacurate to the actual colors.

dawn, dusk and field are just too saturated, while the others have at least one color wrong

unsure about , the stripes seem too blue to me, but it's hard to tell

I don't think there's any need to make any drastic changes to these plushies, though. Just fix the colors and maybe make the whole line look a little less shiny.

I saw this thread * Electric Piano - error in the overlay about . Not sure if posting it here will help but I figured it wouldn't hurt. The issue is that the pedal is facing backwards in the overlay.

The wearable part is fine but the overlay could use an update.

These two sets are lovely, but could use a revamp. Perhaps yellow and/or light darker recolors could be added to this set?

looks like it says "I doi". I'm sure that's supposed to be an exclamation point, but it doesn't have the dot.

Most of the older items/art don't bother me if they are a little outdated, but these are the items that typically jumpscare me when I'm going through my inventory: [Item=Party Time][Item=Pherret Tail Whip][Item=Rocket Shoes][Item=Rocket Helmet][Item=Atebus Space Suit] This one most of all: [Item=Island of the Dusk Ontras]

The mermaid kelp-wrapped items (such as ) have bothered me for a long time ever since I noticed they're in the arms layer, which seems to indicate they're supposed to wrap around the arms, but they don't. Either that or they're in the wrong layer. But they do look like the top part is supposed to go behind the head/neck, while the bottom part is supposed to wrap around the arms. Similar to items like and .
For the kelp-wrapped items, there are just some parts that need to be cut out in the avatar's shape.

These are nice but a fresh look might be needed. Please?

Go ahead, tease me about what I'm going to post. It's been done.

Anyways.

In its entirety. Annoys the absolute crap out of me. Let's start with a nice breakdown of the why:

1. The shading is nonexistent. When it does exist, it's so subpar to today's Subeta standards, I don't know where to begin.
2. The helmets. Anyone worth their salt and knows anything about any part of this know that the horned helmets came around the 1870's roughly with Wagner's version of The Ring Cycle and the costume designer took too many creative liberties. The actual helmets have nothing on them except spectacles and cheek guards. They look a bit like this. (Link is to Pinterest.) The Sutton Hoo helmet is another good example, albeit funerary and far more intricate than most.
3. The "Viqueen" portion is... borderline sexist. Not only is the apron completely inaccurate, so is the jewelry. Here's a decent example of what a more period accurate Viking dress would look like. Although perhaps not as many beads as they were expensive. Another good example of an accurate dress. Down to the use of the brooches on the shoulders, the cross pendant would have been a much later addition. (Yes. Viking would still apply to the women, although if you want the actual, specific term: shieldmaiden.) 3A. I know that the Vikings were not exactly known for their equal rights between men and women, other than a woman could divorce her husband for: three years' absence/etc, being unfaithful and a myriad of other not safe for Subeta reasons of mature themes. 3B. Viking women held the right to own land, inherit lands and fortunes, even rule. They were still trained in battle and were usually extremely well educated, versed in writing, mathematics (Viking men considered that witchcraft) and some basic healing techniques. The only thing that wasn't permitted was the right to vote in the Thing/Althing, given that women typically were the ones who practiced magic and "could weave a spell over the proceedings." 3C. You try abridging this history for Subeta.
4. The axe and the shield - inaccurate as you can get. A Viking raider would typically go into battle with one of the following: a distinctly bearded axe (these looks like modern axes but with a hook on the back), a seax (a short sword of about eight to ten inches), a spear (nothing glamorous) and a shield with potentially clan colors associated with it, red for intent of hostile and blue for friendly/allied. (You want an sP sink? Make the shield a regular restocking item and add in overlays that can change the "clan" - most of those are so ancient, there's no way to exactly "copyright" them.)
5. The blonde hair for the female side isn't correct - it screams The Ring Cycle. While Vikings had an affinity for blond hair (and used lye soap to achieve it), Vikings still had a myriad of hair colors. Red, brunette, brown, blonde, anything in between. The genetics of the Vikings span into midland China and out to Greenland, take your pick. (My own manifested in red hair and blue eyes.)
6. The fur wraps as a whole. Just no. Not that it didn't happen but the design of them is abysmal.

PS - I study this stuff. It's my family history as much as it is world and while I could continue the ted talk that no one's going to read ANYWAYS... there's my argument on why it needs revamped.

TL;DR - Viking set is inaccurate and needs bought up to a somewhat historically accurate take on things. There's no excuse not to when there's so much (accurate) information out there. No, watching the show or playing Skyrim isn't accurate.

^I second this. Overlay is different from wearable: Are arms like this? The wearables lines are really thick: overlay doesn’t match wearables colors.

could use some work. Art and wearable are both pretty flat.
