: I was a fussy eater when I was a wee little pup. I would only eat Mother's buttermilk biscuits for breakfast. When I was a a little older, as an apprentice Watcher, I went to live with Lady Frieda's parents and Lady Sunflower didn't make buttermilk biscuits, she made oats and raisins or walnuts, or eggs and bacon or toast and beans. Little Frieda ate anything and everything with gusto and noticed that I often skipped breakfast. "Boy! Momma not make garbage. You eat dat. Don't be a dumb." How can you argue with a toddler. I learned to eat different things eventually. Be patient, Michael will come around, he's at that age when he likes the things he likes and it comforts him. You know what they say, little ones tend to instinctively know what their bodies need for nutrition.

yes rested up - and would be happy to take your paw for a dance :) Hey guess what? My new shoes are made out of cookie! I mean they must have been overbaked or something...but who knew? Shoes made out of cookie! Imagine the possibilities! Cookie shoes, cookie hats...a gingerbread house...okay wait that's something else...:P

It's good to see you Weldon! I'm glad that I'm not the only parent whose toddler doesn't want to eat what I have made. I am really trying to be patient, but sometimes it is hard. I can see how hard it would be to argue against Frieda as toddler haha. I would love to dance for awhile. curtsies

Do not get those shoes anywhere near my Little One, she'll devour them and you might get a bite on your toes. And if you are wearing those closed foam shoe inserts that crafted, Frieda will most likely eat those too, for they will be cookie scented for sure. (gently strokes the crown feathers on your little bird and speaks a kind and soothing Birdeese greeting...)

Hiya all! Weldon and I have a date upstairs in the Sky Lounge for dinner while my "Lurking Device" is updated. I've been having troubles with Safari constantly reloading pages, or getting stuck loading Subeta pages, so I am going to update the entire operating system, including the latest version of Safari. I don't use Firefox or Chrome because they aren't as integrated with the Mac operating system, and I have all my contacts, addresses, telephone numbers and bookmarks integrated between all my devices. I may be out for a few hours...

hope you get that sorted out...I feel about technology like Frieda feels about the kitchen.

Hi all :) I'm taking a break from cleaning, my parents will be here tomorrow, so gotta get the house in somewhat decent order haha. I also need to work on the rest of my outfit for tomorrow, hair, makeup, etc. I got to see which will work for an early wakeup. My family and some of our friends are going to a Ren Faire and we'll be in costumes :)

Positive vibes and prayers needed, my uncle in India has covid with high fever and difficulty breathing. My family there are trying to get him admitted to hospital, but beds are hard to find as you know. 🙏

I'm sorry to hear that. The situation is so bad in India. I hope more aid can be sent from other countries, some have stepped up with ventilators, oxygen and money, but not enough.

I am praying for your uncle and family, and all of India. I have been listening to world news, and know how serious it is in India.

I worry about my hubby’s family in Egypt social distancing is real bad, and they fear the vaccine. Because it’s manufactured in China, and most items imported from China to Egypt are poorly made, cheap products with poor unsafe materials from medicines, hygiene products, and I am willing to bet COVID masks are bad. China ships better products to US but not by much. Needless to say, in normal circumstances we take our own hygiene products when we go. Plus I get told their COVID cases and death rate aren’t high directly from people who live there. Which they know what their government wants them to know. The government there lies to their citizens and the world to protect the tourism money at all costs. My source told me the truth about how bad their situation is.

i too have just seen the conditions of India trying their best to work with what they have and it is NOT nearly what they need..i pray that he gets the catr he needs and heals as he fights his way back...was he frail or ill to begin with?
